Sentōin D

Sentōin D ( D, Sentōin D^?), or more commonly known as D, is the main protagonist of the Ranger Reject Series. He is a Duster, a Sentōin of the Villainous Army who left the Sky Fortress to defeat the Dragon Keepers.

D is currently disguised as Hibiki Sakurama and after passing the Bailong Exam, he was recruited by Kanon Hisui, and joined the Green Battalion with an unranked position.

Appearance

In his duster form, D looks like a typical Sentōin of the Villainous Army, except for the letter D on his shoulder that sets him apart from the others.

In his disguised human form, he has messy black hair and black eyes. While undercover in the Rangers, he takes on the identity and appearance of Hibiki Sakurama. These disguises are easily broken should he suffer from any substantial damage that would otherwise leave lasting wounds on a normal human.

Personality

Despite being a Sentōin from the Villainous Army, D is very sympathetic despite having a harsh way of speaking. He has been shown to be arrogant but also understands his position while being disguised as Hibiki. After enduring Dragon Keepers' oppression for 13 years and encountering other rangers, he has developed his own strong sense of justice and righteousness, which eventually leads to his rebellion. His beliefs became more self-centered and grounded after his battles with the Blue Keeper and Peltrola, his own Executive.

Background

D, along with other Dusters and Executives, came to Milky Way City to invade Earth. However, after a year, the executives were wiped out, and they made a deal with the Rangers to have fake battles every Sunday for 13 years, which became known as Sunday Battles.

Relationships

Villainous Army

He is known as a smart ass and is generally at odds with his fellow Dusters due to differing ideals, but as shown with Sentōin F, there are people who care about him.

Yumeko Suzukiri

She helps Sentōin D against the rangers despite being one herself. She does this by leaking information to him and sometimes directly helping him out in his affairs. The reason as to why she does this is a complete mystery and Sentōin D sees her with distrust because of it. Her motives being unclear makes it very difficult for him to trust her and leaves him oftentimes puzzled as to why she's doing this. While she is domineering and sarcastic towards Sentōin D, it is shown that she genuinely cares about him, like when she learns of his survival in the underground. The aforementioned event was probably the only time she was depicted being truly happy, which shows her hidden affection for him.

Hibiki Sakurama

Unlike Suzukiri, Hibiki's motive as to why he helps Sentōin D is relatively clear, with his own sense of justice towards the oppression of the dusters and the Indignation it brings pushing him to help them. Despite this, Sentōin D still finds him hard to trust due to a gut feeling that there may be more to him than this. Unlike Suzukiri however, his help towards Sentōin D is much more limited, due to his very low rank within the rangers.

Kanon Hisui

When Sentōin D and Angel Usukubo was scouted by Kanon Hisui into the Green Ranger Battalion, she was seemingly commanding and also annoys him a lot, that he decided she will be his next target after he kill the Green Keeper. However, he showed some level of trust and care toward her, that he was willing to join the Invader Rights Association in exchange of her survival. She was also one of the few people that know his secret, but chose not to tell because of trust.

Abilities

Overall Strength

At first, he was shown to be extremely weak to the point that D has to use a trick to knock out Tokita (a 3rd class ranger), and when he told Yumeko he "took out a ranger", she was surprised and commented on how he was stronger than he seemed.

However as the series went on, while he was able to get somewhat stronger, he developed his skills and tactics to the point a weakened Shōgo (the late blue keeper) said he did well and even acknowledged him. Additionally, he was scouted out by Kanon Hisui (a Junior 1st class ranger) to join the Green Battalion for his "guts". His cunning wit and abundant battle experience are his primary assets in most battles, outshining his physical strength.

Transformation

Like all Dusters, he has the ability to transform any part of his body. It was also stated that his specialty is humans, but even then unfamiliar subjects take a lot of focus to get the hang of, additionally it has been shown he can't change his height or at the very least not good enough to do it on the fly. His capabilities also extend to morphing parts of his limbs into tools and props typically used for deception.

Reconstruction

Like all Dusters, D has the ability of rapid regeneration, however he can be killed with the power of a Divine Tool. It has also been shown that he can disguise his limbs even when they are apart of him but at the cost of being unusable. This power is limited on windy days, when the particles used to reform his limbs are scattered, and takes time to reattach if he is spread too far thin. After the Dreamy School Arc*, he discovered a way to reattach limbs without having to disperse into dust. He also learned to reconstruct a distance away, albeit without his disguise, as well as being able to elongate his limbs at the cost of reducing the size of the rest of his body and weakening it.

Deconstruction

Whatever form he is in, any damage he takes can instead break off black dust, though he still experiences the pain from the damage. He is also capable of turning into black dust at will, freely detaching and dispersing whenever convenient, but while fully dispersed, his consciousness becomes hazy and his perception of the outside world is difficult to grasp. Detached parts are also limited in the strength they can exert from attraction and in the control he has over them.

Story of Joining Sora's Team

Duster D joined Sora's team, especially the Rangers including Sakuma, and Lucky surprised that what Dragon Keeper had done too much, especially F dead by Sosei made Lucky, Sakuma, and Rangers understand that actions of Dragon Keeper as evil side of rangers could have gone too far, so heard Dragon Keeper joins Xehanort's team making Rangers help even though D is like Ranger's enemy army but Rangers understand, especially Class 3-E surprised that Sosei is like name of one of their classmates named Karma even though he similar to Sosei but Karma is actually kind to D due to Karma knows he's good guy then He helps Gene fight Mad Midget Five because Mad Midget Five is more towards clown side of his enemy making Rangers agree especially Civilians, Keepers, and Dragon Keepers surprised that Sora's team is allied with D then Karma saw Sosei make Karma hate, especially Chidori is surprised that Karma hates Sosei, makeDragon Keeper, Civilians, and Dragon Keeper including Duster, is surprised that D is enemy of Kurow, Shadaloo Doll, M. Bison, Skull Heart, Tomoki Iwahashi, Hibiki Otonashi, Black Dahlia, Eliza, and villains, Eliza hate D because D knows his appearance like he can change like himself as a monster makes Filia, and Squigly is helped, especially when Annie makes D her auxiliary soldier in every episode, even though it's like in show Dragon Keeper but D becomes a hero in show Annie of Star made Kaho, and residents of main building that Karma was like Sosei even though he was like Sosei but Karma beat up the students until Kensaku expel Karma then Hazbin Hotel, and Moxxie show life of Class 3-E like but Duster as Xehanort's team don't care makes Yukari Takeba, Lucky, Kotaro Sakuma, and Rangers help D even though he similar to Ranger's enemy soldiers but Rangers helped by D making Rangers' enemies annoyed because D as a Ranger helper even though the Rangers are on Sora's team but D says that the Rangers on Sora's team are still much friendlier, making Lucky, Sakuma, and hero happy made Sakuma, and Suzukiri secretly spies for Class 3-E, and Sora's team, especially D helped by Class 3-E when Shadaloo Dolls, and Kuniang M. A. team making Duster surprised that Class 3-E helped D even though like Duster but Class 3-E, and Isogai caring him as family makes D feel confident even though he fights Duster because D is a traitor but D is happy that Class 3-E can help him constantly, he becomes a partner with the monsters on Sora's team, including being a partner with Korosensei because Korosensei knows D's kindness so D feeling touched even though he was like his boss, D was treated like his own child, making D happy with Korosensei..
