Meg Kataoka (片岡 メグ Kataoka Megu) is a student in Korosensei's Class 3-E in Kunugigaoka Junior High School. She is the female class representative.
Appearance[]
Kataoka is a tall girl with long light brown hair that is kept in a ponytail with straight bangs. She is described as being "dashing" by Nagisa and according to Irina's fashion reviews of the students, she also has the physique and making of a model. This combined with her personality and talents earned her the title "Ikemegu".
Personality[]
Kataoka is a kind and capable person with very strong leadership skills which has been noted several times in the series. She's level-headed and rational and as a result is good at keeping everyone (namely the boys) in line. She was said to know how to take care of others, however, in the past, she allowed others to rely on her too much. A running gag is that she seems to have a relationship complex and seems to be greatly concerned about not being feminine enough.
History[]
During her arc, it was revealed that Kataoka was indeed dropped to Class E because of low grades. Her former classmate Kokona Tagawa made her help her study before every test, due to the claim that it's because Megu didn't teach her how to swim properly (when in reality it was Kokona's own fault for not taking more lessons) which nearly caused her to drown at the beach. Because she was constantly helping Kokona her own grades in her weak subjects became worse.
Plot[]
She was first introduced as the female class representative of Class E. Her spotlight moment in Chapter 43, when the class was swimming in the pool made by Korosensei. Her excellent swimming skill was when she saved Kayano from drowning. The reason for her low grades, which prompted her entrance to Class E were explained in the subsequent chapter. With Korosensei's guidance, they helped Tagawa to overcome her lackluster swimming, which caused her to not rely on Kataoka anymore. This experience helped Kataoka to learn not to let others rely on her too much.
She was shown to lead Class E in most times throughout different chapters. Notable examples include leading the girls and Nagisa through the bar room in the Assassination Island arc and later leading the rescue team during the God of Death arc.
Abilities[]
Leadership: Being the female class representative, Kataoka occasionally takes charge of the class along with Yuma Isogai.
Athletics: Kataoka is the best swimmer in Class E. She was the representative of the school's freestyle before dropping to class E and recently swam 50 meters in 26.08 seconds. Karasuma notes that her athleticism allows her to carry the same momentum and constitution as the other male students of Class E, making her a competent opponent at close combat.
Knifework: Kataoka scored a joint fourth in the class (along with Masayoshi Kimura, Hinata Okano and Taiga Okajima) for knife training from April to June.
Story of joining Sora's Team[]
Kataoka becomes Sora's friend, She is befriends Mahiro, and the others while on to keep an eye on some of classmates especially the behavior of some of their to pervert to others even though her is healer to heal Isogai, heroes, and Class 3-E but when her get hurt and poison, Isogai heal her in certain moments with magic, Psychic power, and drugs make heroes surprise Isogai heal her make Marie Fou Lafan, and heroes surprise that Isogai can heal her in certain mission moments but heroes said that why Isogai can heal her make Isogai said that Isogai follow healing class in hero class with Class 3-E and Kataoka so Isogai just like Korosensei did can heal to Kayano, and other heroes make Leon Fou Bartfort, Naofumi, Katarina, Marie Korbel, Marie Fou Lafan, and heroes surprise especially to previously Isogai, her, and Class 3-E get absolutely immortality, pain tolerance, time travel, and other power from heroes, Eua, and Hanyuu make Leon Fou Bartfort, Prince entourage, and heroes surprise that Isogai and Class 3-E can visit sea of fragments in first moments when Isogai and Class 3-E chosen as heroes for become official Sora's team member by Eua, and Hanyuu in sea of fragments through Aguri wish in first moments that chosen as a hero for become official Sora's team members when Kataoka poisoned in certain time, Isogai turn out cured her while kissing him making Class 3-E, and heroes shocked just like Nagumo did to Aiko Hatayama before especially Leon Fou Bartfort, Nagumo, Marie Fou, and Prince's entourage that Isogai did like as prince for Kataoka turned out Isogai reckless to Kataoka for heal her from poison from Isogai's memory making Isogai say that because Isogai is worried about her and Kataoka is his precious treasure just like Class 3-E as Isogai precious treasure after Isogai encouraged by Kataoka to become a hero leader when Class 3-E helped Kataoka to encourage Isogai make hero happy.
