La Seine

La Seine (ラ・セーヌ Ra Seenu), also known as Vampire La Seine (吸血鬼ラ・セーヌ Kyūketsuki Ra Seenu) is a French Vampire who appears in the Shonen Magazine story Hand.

History

GeGeGe no Kitarō (Shonen Magazine)

La Seine utilizes the "latest in blood-sucking technology" to suck the blood of high-class women in Paris, which the media mistakes for some sort of new "bloodless" disease. He then moves to Japan with his minion Mammoth to drink the blood of Japanese women, but soon worries that Kitarō will learn about his deeds. He lures Kitarō out to a park and, when he shakes his hand, has Mammoth obliterate him with a machine gun, leaving only the hand La Seine was shaking. However, Kitarō's hand lives and follows them to their hotel room to haunt them. Eventually, La Seine and Mammoth run to another hotel, but the hand follows them there as well. They board up the room but the hand starts to climb down the chimney. La Seine orders Mammoth to start a fire, but it grows out of control and spreads all over the room. La Seine tries to unlock the door, but it will not open because the hand is on the other side holding tight onto the knob. With this, the two men burn to death in the fire as the hand returns to Kitarō.

Shinpen GeGeGe no Kitarō

La Seine aims to suck the blood of 1,000 beautiful women and plans to make a Japanese woman his 1,000th victim. With his Ultrasonic Teleportation Device, he goes from the Eiffel Tower to Tokyo Tower in an instant. He defeats Kitarō by having his legion of vampire bats suck his blood. He then transfuses human blood into Kitarō, weakening him and altering his personality. La Seine then attempts to make Neko-Musume his next victim but changes his mind after learning she is a Yōkai. In retaliation, he tries to throw the depowered Kitarō out of Tokyo Tower, but the Yōkai boy manages to destroy the Ultrasonic Teleportation Device with his Geta, subsequently knocking La Seine out of the window instead. He offers to return Kitarō's blood in exchange for medical treatment, causing the bats of Japan to turn against him. The Kitarō Family also tell him never to return to Japan, so he reluctantly returns to France on an airplane.

1968 Anime

La Seine appears in episode #4 of the first anime adaptation, Vampire La Seine.

2018 Anime

La Seine appears in episode #57 of the sixth anime adaptation, The Bloody Noble La Seine. Following Backbeard's demise, he becomes one of the generals of his army. He and Mammoth go to Japan in order to gather blood to resurrect Backbeard on Carmilla's instructions. When Kitarō goes to investigate he has an encounter with La Seine who easily defeats Kitarō and seals him with a Magic Stone.

Unfortunately for the vampire, he and his servant are constantly antagonized by Kitarō's Chanchanko, to the point that they even bury it in the sea, but prove unsuccessful and almost die in a fire staged by it. When Kitarō is set free, he battles La Seine once more, having learned of the vampire's fighting style is able to counter him with ease. Before La Seine can retreat he is attacked by Rei Isurugi who kills him and takes his soul. An enraged Mammoth tries to attack Rei but is kicked away.

Powers and Abilities

Bloodsucking (吸血 Kyūketsu): Being a vampire, La Seine is able to drain the blood of his victims by biting their necks.

Bat Taming: Like most vampires, La Seine commands a colony of vampire bats to do his bidding. However, they betray him once he surrenders to Kitarō.

Bat Transformation: La Seine is able to transform into a giant bat.

Equipment

Advanced Blood-Sucking Technology: La Seine is able to suck blood from women undetected with this, making the media believe his attacks to be a new "bloodless" disease.

Magic Stone: Like the other Western Yōkai, La Seine uses the Magic Stones that Adél created.

• Barrier stone: By clenching a red stone La Seine is able to imprison his target within a transparent glowing red cube. He has demonstrated to shrink the barrier and its inhabitant to a small size that they can fit in a person's hand.

Former Equipment

Ultrasonic Teleportation Device: A special silk hat that allows La Seine to travel great distances in an instant. One example is how he was able to go from Paris, France to Tokyo Japan. It was destroyed by Kitarō with his Geta.

Againts Sora's Team

La Seine joins Xehanort's team along with Mammoth after being resurrected but he is the mortal enemy of Class 3-E, Tsukune, Lilianne, Shinoa Squad, Morrigan, Lilith, Shalltear, Blade, Dante, and other heroes then Mammoth is the Hiro Hiyorimi archenemy due to Hiro as a Lilianne's servant reported to Lilianne until Lilianne know him trying kill innocent girl after he causes trouble again but he is killed again by Sugino after Sugino hit his fangs because of Seine's weakness like some vampires making several other heroes surprised especially Nobuaki, and the victims of the king's game were surprised that Sugino was like Teruaki who was reborn making Teruaki turn out Sugino was his other self making Teruaki say to Natsuko, and his friends as traitors Nobuaki, his friends, and himself then imitate the words of Master of hell about innocent hatred towards people they hate to no end making the king, Natsuko, and other criminals annoyed with Teruaki especially since Sugino is more annoying than Teruaki  even Teruaki supports Sugino in killing several criminals including killing king, making criminals annoyed then Sugino reveals that there are some heroes, and some villains have weaknesses although they are not shown just like his, and his classmates as Class 3-E making heroes understand but instead king, Ogura, Natsuko, evil friends Nobuaki, Natsuko, Kentaro, Kazunari, as victims of the game of kings and other villains in king game world angry to Sugino just like angry to Class 3-E, and other heroes especially Sugino asks the Master of hell to punish him due to Sugino knows that master of hell is hungry to eat him soul that make master of hell know Sugino that master of hell want eat him soul from earlier then call Sugino as clever baseball boy until master of hell until Sugino is allowed by Isurugi, Kitaro, Ichimokuren, Hone Onna, Sora, master of hell, Good Yokai, and other heroes to take Seine to eternity hell so Sugino kills him then throws him into the hell of eternity with a Sugino used wild pitcher that teached Gene to Sugino until Sugino use this technic and use his weapon to kill him until master of hell opened the entrance to hell to torture Seine as master of hell's food from Sugino's gift so master of hell thanked Sugino, Mammoth angry but punched by Nagisa to protect Sugino until Mammoth arrested by justice organization, and marine for help villains and La Seine.
