Kurt Rockhans is the titular main protagonist of the adventure light novel, manga, and anime series The Unaware Atelier Master. He was a handyman living in an solitary village known as Hast.

According to a statement by Hildegarde, it is implied Kurt is over 1,200 years old with the appearance of a young man aged approximately 15 years old. He has pale blue hair and blue eyes, as well as a slim build.
Personality[]
Kurt is oblivious and naive, but hardworking. He puts his all into everything he does, no matter how difficult the task, but has a low sense of self-worth. He often believes he isn't very useful and is unsure of himself--even when encouraged by others. Though shy about his own emotions, Kurt is quite perceptive of the feelings of others, though he often misinterprets the motivations of others since he has a pure heart. He is kind and generous, happy to help others without expecting anything in return. He struggles with low self-esteem, often feeling inadequate or unsure of himself.
Story of Joining Sora's Team[]
Kurt joins Sora's team with his new friends after being kicked out of his old party, making most of the heroes feel sorry for his fate. However, he is used to being betrayed, especially by his old teammate, but Marie, and some heroes are impressed that he is very skilled at using weapons such as cleaning tools that he can use until he is can be partner of Yuma Isogai, Shannon, and several heroes who are skilled at using any equipment as a weapon. Together, they gain extraordinary powers from Eua and other heroes, including absolute immortality, pain tolerance, virus immunity, time travel, and looping abilities, during their visit to the Sea of Fragments. Bennett took pity of Kurt after Kurt was betrayed by his party, and they became partners. Though Bennett had a reputation for being unlucky, Kurt never cared about the rumors. Kurt viewed him as a true partner, someone akin to a brother, and saw a lot of similarities between them, which Bennett was happy to hear.
