Personality[]
Hayato is the passionate leader of High×Joker, as well as the unit's guitarist. He also serves as a composer for the group along with Jun Fuyumi as a lyricist. He is a very energetic and friendly boy who gets excited easily but doesn't go too overboard. He is also a bit of a crybaby, having the tendency to cry when he is extremely happy, such as when he came in first during the 1st SideM Election. Hayato is always thinking of different ways on how to become popular, as this was his motivation for starting the light music club at his high school. Despite this, he never tries to upstage any of his fellow band members. As the leader, he has a strong sense of responsibility towards the rest of his band members. He always helps them out when they're troubled or if they're having trouble during practice.

Hayato is a boy of below average height with moss green hair and brown-hazel eyes. His most common outfit is his school uniform, a white button-up shirt with gray sweater-vest. His HighxJoker outfit features a long sleeved white shirt, a black tie, and an open red vest embroidered with the unit's logo.

Story on joining Sora's Team[]
Hayato improved his playing guitar skills and became stronger than his heart.
