Hajime Nagumo, also better known by his classmates as the God Slaying Demon King and by Ehit and his servants as the Irregular, is the titular main protagonist of the Japanese web-turned-light novel, manga and anime franchise Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest.
He is one of Ehit's former team of fake heroes who, after discovering the truth that he was an impostor and just used him as a pawn, turned into the false god's latest archenemy and killer.
Although being the main protagonist, and although being mainly an anti-hero, Hajime committed various terrible and violent acts over the course of the series, often murdering his enemies in cold blood, torturing them, beating them and even worse, viciously killing hundreds of Ehit loyalists and in general anyone who dares to stand in his way, often serving as more of an outright villainous protagonist rather than an anti-hero, especially in the earlier parts of the story, proving just how much of a ruthless killer he has become, ever since he was purposely betrayed and left behind by one of his classmates, droving Hajime into anger, sadness, loneliness and hatred, bringing him to abandon nearly all of his kindness because of all the pain, the agony and the suffering he was forced to endure in order to survive: this until he meet the imprisoned Yue, who was also betrayed due to her immortality and monstrous strength, who'll actually turn out to be the very reason Hajime managed to retain what's left of his soft side and hold a large control over his anger.
Overview[]
Hajime was once a weak-willed but friendly, humble, kind-hearted, selfless and caring all-around human. But now a murderous monster due to suffering/enduring the unfathomable torment of the inner-most depths of the Orcus Dungeon, which all started because of a failed murder attempt by Daisuke Hiyama, his main bully, purely out of petty and spiteful jealousy.
In the beginning and before his mutation, Hajime had a miserable life in both school and Tortus, as he was bullied by Daisuke Hiyama and his gang after he got a lot of loving attention from their class’ most beautiful girl & school idol, Kaori Shirasaki. When he was left for dead and suffered due to Hiyama's betrayal, Hajime turned into a monster by devouring monster flesh out of desperation, absorbing their powers & abilities in a life-or-death process. Thus, no longer a normal human being after mutating.
After Hajime ate some of very powerful monsters and made weapons from the monsters' essences, he gained too much power and mutation-evolved strength that broke even the normal level 100 limit, meaning he became more powerful beyond anyone ever could be and became a human/monster hybrid, turned from a meek and good-willed human being into a ruthless, coldblooded and destructive killer, bent on his quest to return back to his home, even if he’ll have to kill all those who get in his way, especially if they’ll dare to harm his comrades (harem).
After learning from the Liberators that he and his classmates were being used by the false god, Ehit. Hajime abandoned all respects for him and has no concerns for false god of Tortus, but disrespecting Ehit as he swears to kill them all as well if they are got in his way.
After reuniting with his former classmates, Hajime broke all ties with them and left them behind for his quest of returning to Japan but ended up having Kaori Shirasaki join him to win his heart no matter what it took.
Hajime and his companions caused destruction and killed hundreds of loyalists all over Tortus, killing all those who blindly worship the fake god Ehit.
In request of Princess Liliana, Hajime return to the Heiligh Kingdom to rescue his teacher, Aiko Hatayama. He killed Noint, the Holy Church's Pope, his bishops, Eri Nakamura's soldiers and finally Daisuke Hiyama.
With the help of Aiko and Princess Liliana S. B. Heiligh after Eri Nakamura's betrayal and Daisuke Hiyama's death by Hajime, he has successfully made humanity turned against Ehit and forever ruining his "chessboard of life and death" leaving Tortus as a godless world.
While still refusing to rejoin his former classmates just to suit Kouki Amanogawa's useless delusions, Hajime actually ended up giving his classmates another chance to join him and his companions to clear the remaining labyrinths to obtain the "Age of Gods Magic". And kill Ehit next, in order to return back home to Japan.
Appearance[]
In the beginning of the story, Hajime had black hair, brown eyes, and a slim body type. He also had a kind face and attitude and a very humble and selfless side. After falling into the abyss and eating the twin-tailed wolf monster's flesh, his body began to violently rupture from the inside. After immediately drinking the ambrosia in the abyss to counter the effects of the monster meat, his body began to heal and grow stronger in the process. Due to the stress of this repeated rupture and revitalization, his hair turned white, a condition called Marie Antoinette syndrome.
In the light novel and manga, his eyes turned dark red, he gained tattoo-like red veins, a sign of becoming a demonic monster (which was absent in the anime). These red marks also grant Hajime the ability to use magic without needing to use chants or incantations. He also grew 10 cm in height and gained a muscular, toned and statue-like figure. The huge changes in his appearance (along with his personality and abilities) made it difficult for those who knew Hajime before to recognize him at first, only recognizing him later because of his voice and facial features (and that's only after taking a closer look).
Shorty after falling into the abyss, Hajime lost his left arm to the Claw Bear on the first floor (pre-mutation). He would later lose his right eye during his battle against the Hydra (post-mutation). After completing the Great Orcus Labyrinth and gaining Creation Magic, Hajime would replace both of them with a mechanical arm and a gem-like artifact called the Demon Eye respectively.
After he returned to Earth, Hajime's hair and eyes were reverted back to their original color thanks to Kaori's restoration magic. He decides, however, to keep his mechanical arm and demon eye, which are disguised to look like his original arm and eye.
Personality[]
Pre-Fall[]
Hajime was originally a weak and average human with a timid and tolerant personality but with an extremely kind and gentle heart and soul. While mild-mannered, he has a special type of bravery and strength of heart that would allow him to sacrifice his own dignity and well-being to protect a child from harm. Kaori noted that it would be easy to be a hero to fight against evil if one were already strong, but it takes true strength to go against evil if one knows that they are weak. His strength of heart is evident by his ability to keep calm when his class faced perilous dangers from a Behemoth, while Kouki had momentarily stood paralyzed by fear until being snapped out of it by Hajime. He had a Motto of "Hobbies First" and would put his hobbies over everything else despite ridicule by his peers. He was also considered mature.
Post-Fall[]
After falling into the abyss' darkest depths, and after suffering even more after losing his left arm due to Hiyama's betrayal, the rage for being betrayed, the fear of dying, the despair and his undying desire to see his parents, the two people he cares about the most, once again, all of this followed by several days of starvation and thirst, pushed Hajime to his very limit. All these factors mixed with his desire to survive and return to Japan, causing his gentle personality to completely change to that of a ruthless, wrathful, uncaring, bloodthirsty, sadistic, merciless, genocidal and coldblooded killer and torturer. Thus, becoming utterly ruthless and murderous toward all those who make them his enemies, making him more than ready to kill anyone and anything who stand in his path in any way, including his old classmates.
Hajime has almost completely abandoned all his kind and generous nature, replacing it with that of a very cold, cruel, coldhearted, indifferent, cynical and sadistic person, able to easily abandon a dying person without hesitation.
He's shown his sadistic side after killing monsters and eating their meat for his sustenance. He doesn't care for vengeance as he viewed himself to be more powerful than his now-useless classmates.
After discovering from the Liberators that Tortus was manipulated by Ehit, Hajime has no respect for the false god, but rather insults and disrespects him, as he will also kill him. He also sees the apostles and demons as ´God´s puppets´, as they are weaker than he is and killed everyone, including Noint, who is known to be the most powerful. Even though reunited with his classmates (only indebted to Kaori), Hajime still doesn't care about his weak classmates (except for Kaori and Shizuku) and give them a proper warning if they get in his way, he'll kill them, which caused them to be terrified of Hajime - even causing his former bullies to be more afraid of him than the rest.
Hajime proved he didn´t care for his former classmates as he killed Shimizu when he made a pact with the demons and attempt to kill his teacher, Aiko. He cruelly brutalized Hiyama (light novel and manga) before throwing him to feed the monsters for conspiring with Eri in the invasion of the Heiligh Kingdom. As well as having temporarily caused Kaori´s death. Though he was willing to forgive them if they learned from their mistakes and wrongdoings. Unlike in the anime, Hajime killed Hiyama with cold anger.
Hajime will never let anyone lay a single finger or harms his comrades (harem) even in such worthless challenges such as defeating Kouki Amanogawa twice: first, in a useless unarmed duel and later a pointless fight while Kouki merged with his doppelganger. And murdering the traitorous coward, Hiyama, for his supposedly murder on Kaori Shirasaki. After killing Hiyama, Hajime made it a warning that if any of his former classmates got in his way, they would face the same fate as Hiyama.
Due to Ehit´s manipulation, Hajime considers Tortus a world of murder, where it´s just kill or die. Hajime also considers the Holy Church´s decree to be meaningless, as all their beliefs and efforts in the war against demons on behalf of Ehit were completely empty and false. Thus, revealing what they are only doing was dying in hopeless wars and sacrifice innocent lives - much of Ehit's amusement.
Despite being a former human, Hajime is quite indifferent towards Tortus´ situation, where he doesn´t care about the world or its inhabitants. Since he is not loyal to kingdoms, empires, cities or towns, nor is he concerned about saving the lives of people who were blindly worship the false god, and unlike the Liberators who wanted to save them, Hajime will not hesitate to kill them if necessary as it demonstrated that he unleashed the massacre upon the supposedly worshipers, who or whatever they are.
In his sadistic side, Hajime mocked and provoked his enemies to lead them to their deaths. He has no tolerances for empty idealism, delusional prides, emotional weaknesses or cowardice. He got disgusted by Kouki's idiotic ideals. He called Hiyama and his gang worthless and weak as well exposed Hiyama's greatest fear of him being responsible for Hajime's "fall" and left him for dead. He doesn't take orders from those who are inferior to himself. He refused to return to the so-called "Hero Party" to being pawns for Ehit's twisted entertainment nor will he let those who betray him into joining his party to get close to his lovers including Kaori (mainly the Bastard Four).
Due to his past experiences, Hajime became completely loathing and hateful towards cowards and traitors, despising them deeply, seeing them as living burdens, backstabbing weasels and dead weights.
When abandoning his timidity, Hajime is fearless when he is not afraid of anyone or anything anymore. He is not terrified of the so-called Gods of Tortus as he viewed them to be pathetic. He is no longer being intimidated by the Bastard Four (his former bullies) when the latter called them as weak and worthless, causing them to be afraid of him. He is shown no concern of being called a "heretic" when he will unleash a massacre against Ehit's supposedly worshipers, be they humans or demons.
After killing his lead tormentor Daisuke Hiyama for what he did in his betrayal, Hajime regained his life and no longer living in his loneliness and sadness thanks to his teacher. Aiko Hatayama as well became a bit honorable when giving his classmates a second chance and join him to kill Ehit for his sins, but retained his ruthlessness towards his enemies.
After returning to Japan, Hajime is at least a bit merciful as he will pulverize anyone who dare challenge him and left them to be humiliated as he did with the students of the Yaegashi Dojo and bullied and completely humiliated the so-called "Soul Sisters" in public who are annoyances to one of his wives, Shizuku Yaegashi.
Hajime has immense love for his parents. They were responsible for Hajime to become an otaku. While almost dying, Hajime vowed that he will return back home to Japan and reunite with his parents, even if it means to abandoned his kindness and his morality to become a genocidal mass murderer and a god-slaying destroyer.
Even though Hajime has a ruthless and fearless personality, Hajime still has some remnants of his former kindness. He cares deeply for his comrades (harem), for they are the last and only remnant of his humanity that Hajime has not lost or abandoned. He is a super protective father of Myu. He allowed Kaori Shirasaki (his childhood love interest during middle school and future wife) to join him. He let Shizuku (one of his lover and future wives) to keep his crafted sword, Black Blade, as a gift. After he murdered Hiyama, Hajime gave his classmates second chances but kept his warning thanks to Suzu, Ryutarou and Shizuku's begging though initially declared he will never rejoin them again. Hajime had promised Kaori if she dies, he will revive her with a stronger body. Hajime made more adjustments for his classmates' weapons and armor after opens his work. When he failed on Suzu's bracelets for enhancements, Hajime gives Suzu a pair of twin iron fans (one of his masterpieces) as a gift. Hajime at least obliged to Suzu's pleas to give her chance to talk some sense into Eri . Although he doesn't care for his classmates, Hajime was willing to bring them back to Japan, although only if they wanted to. If they chose to remain in Tortus, Hajime would leave them there and return to Japan for good without any hesitation.
Despite being ruthless, Hajime has a somewhat charitable side, when he faced Cattleya. Hajime gave her a chance to withdraw for her life and despite Hiyama and Shimizu being traitors and the horrors they did, Hajime was still willing to spare them if they learned from their mistakes and mend themselves. Hajime was also willing to give Eri a second chance [albeit only on Suzu's pleas], even after she was a crazy, sadistic, psychopathic traitor who tried to destroy the Heiligh Kingdom, nearly killed everyone in the Hero's Party and tried to transform Kaori in Hiyama's undead sex slave.
It as also been shown that even if he doesn't care for Tortus, Hajime is even willing to help the helpless, especially if his party persuades him, as shown when he helped save Akanji out of his party´s appeals.
His "Otaku" habits still remained unchanged as it's grown on him and his wife, Kaori Shirasaki. After returning to Japan, Hajime still getting used of watching anime and movie, reading manga and playing video games while with Kaori. Due to his otaku nature, Hajime also has a several fetishes that can get him quite aroused, such as as his strong preference for female beastwomen, especially rabbits. One example is when he caressed Shea´s ears, a habit that grew even more after he made Shea on of his lovers.
Relationships[]
Shuu Nagumo & Sumire Nagumo[]
As their only son, Shuu and Sumire held immense love for Hajime which he also reciprocated, having inherited their Otaku passion and interests, earnestly assisted them in their work. When Hajime suffered from bullying, Shuu and Sumire allowed Hajime to make his own choice if he wished to transfer to another school to avoid bullying or stay on.
Hajime would frequently discuss with his parents about their otaku interest including what would happen if he were to be summoned to another world, which ironically came true when Hajime was summoned by Ehit to Tortus. When Hajime fell into the depths of the Great Orcus Labyrinth and lost his left arm and later his right eye, it was ultimately his desire to reunite with his parents again that gave him the resolve and willpower to fight and conquered the dangers of the Great Orcus Labyrinth, doing everything in his abilities to become strong enough to survive and getting back home, doing so with immense conviction, even if it means becoming a genocidal mass murderer or even a god slaying destroyer. As Shizuku had correctly predicted in Volume 7, Hajime actually slayed Ehit while in his journey to return home back to his parents.
After returning to Japan, Hajime asked Shuu and Sumire if they would accept him, even if he had killed other people, but the two assured Hajime that they would always love him and accepted him with open arms and with great joy that his son had finally come back. However, they were hysterical, shocked and impressed that Hajime got a harem.
Yue[]
The Vampire Princess, Yue became Hajime's most important person after he fell into the bottom of the Abyss. At first, when Hajime discovered her inside the 50th floor of the Great Orcus Labyrinth, he was willing to leave her behind out of the cautious belief that she was sealed there because she was dangerous. However, after she begged him to help her by saying she was betrayed just like him, he changed his mind, freed her and renamed her "Yue" at her own request as she didn't want her old name anymore. As the two traveled in the Abyss and fought together to conquer the Great Orcus Labyrinth in order to escape, they quickly grew close due to their similar backgrounds and circumstances. Whenever there is danger, Hajime and Yue always prioritize each other's safety. In battle, they move with perfect synchronicity and are able to anticipate each other's moves and the two have a deep understanding of each other as they are able to discern each other's thoughts. Even in public, they tend to go into their own little "pink world" and ignore everything in their surroundings.
Even though Hajime is surrounded by women who want to be his lovers and Yue herself wants him to be intimate with her, he has never wavered in loving her. His reasoning being that is because he is a man who would never cheat on the woman he loves and wants to be monopolized by Yue since, if the situation was reversed, he would never want Yue to be with anyone but him as Yue wants the same thing. If anyone says Yue's name without honorifics, Hajime will make them suffer, as they have no right to say Yue's name due to him being the one who gave Yue her name. This was shown when he brutalized Kouki for doing that.
In Volume 11, after clearing the Labyrinths, Yue was captured by Eri and was temporarily possessed by Ehit. This caused Hajime to be engulfed with tremendous rage as he killed his way to reach to Yue.
One month after slaying Ehit in the epic battle, with the necessary materials finally in place, Hajime holds hands with Yue to use ancient magic and creates another Crystal Key which enables him to open a doorway back to Japan. It is Hajime's wish to bring Yue and the other girls back to his world and they want the same. Shortly before taking that trip home, Hajime properly proposed to Yue, which she happily agrees. It's mentioned several times in the after story that Yue is The Legal wife, meaning that in the family registry she's the only one listed as Hajime wife.
Yue would also join Hajime's highschool class and together they finish highschool, even university. It's implied that, by the 6th year after the main event, Yue has given birth to Hajime's child.
Kaori Shirasaki[]
Originally, Hajime saw Kaori as a friend, although her attention for him only brought Hajime nothing but trouble. When Hajime fell in to the abyss and began his journey afterwards, he decided that he wants nothing to do with his former classmates after his transformation.
In Volume 4, when he reunited with Kousuke Endou and heard from him that Kaori was in trouble, he went in the Great Orcus Labyrinth to save her to pay off her kindness. While Hajime said that he would not respond to her feelings because he was in love with Yue, she refused to give up winning his heart. After that, she decided to travel with Hajime to earn his affection despite his completely different personality. In Volume 5, while exploring the Sunken Ruins of Melusine, Hajime offered to return Kaori to Shizuku and the Hero Party when she was saddened by her weakness compared to other members of the party. When she was possessed by an evil spirit in the labyrinth and brutally freed by Hajime, she gave him her first kiss and cemented she always wants to stay by his side, regardless of the competition, she loved him and that is all that mattered especially after realizing how much she meant to Hajime.
It's been hinted that prior to his transformation, Hajime harbored some feelings for Kaori but never embraced them, most likely to avoid getting into even more trouble with his former bully, Daisuke Hiyama, who also harbored feelings for Kaori. Even after he decided to cut ties with his classmates, he temporarily took a detour to help her and the Hero Party when they were in danger, and even saved her from the evil spirit possessing her in the Melusine Labyrinth, which emphasizes how much Kaori means to him, and that he was subconsciously holding onto his feelings for her despite his mental and physical transformation.
Later, after Kaori was temporarily killed by Daisuke, he became unimaginably enraged that he unleashed his true power by destroying Eri's undead soldiers and slaughtering Daisuke, while decimating Freid Bagwa's invading forces a long with the Heiligh Kingdom, all so he could focus on reviving Kaori using spirit magic and as he promised to put her soul in a stronger body at Kaori's request because she did not want to remain weak anymore. Hajime promised Kaori that she would remain at his side forever when they returned to Japan as he swore to find a way to make all of his companions immortal so they could all live together forever. Before the final battle, Hajime finally confessed his deep hidden feelings to Kaori, that he loves her and thanked her for always staying at his side no matter what. Solidifying their unbreakable bond.
Out of all his wives, Kaori is the only one that shares Hajime's otaku hobbies and has known him the longest.
Shea Haulia[]
During their first meeting, Hajime's impression of Shea was negative due to her excessively clingy attitude that he wouldn't hesitate to strike her for out of annoyance. Hajime wouldn't allow Shea to travel with him until she became strong, so she trained with Yue so that one day she could stand next to them in battle.
As time passed Hajime and Yue began to see Shea as part of their family, but to Shea's and shockingly Yue's great disappointment, Hajime could not see Shea in a romantic light. However, that began to change in Volume 7, during their return to the Haltina forest, where her concern for her father (who had gone missing) dampened her smile so much that Hajime decided to alter his plans to save Cam and the others first before he goes to the Haltina Labyrinth. At the Haltina Labyrinth, Hajime eventually realized that Shea is just as important and irreplaceable to him as Yue and has begun to show his previously hidden feelings for her, and subsequently confessed to her at the end of Volume 8. Without realizing it the two have created their own "pink world" while they are alone. While Hajime has come to respect Shea for how far she's come, he does sometimes miss the old useless Shea, feeling nostalgic when he does.
Tio Klarus[]
In there first meeting in Volume 3, Hajime and Tio were unwilling enemies in battle due to her being manipulated by Yukitoshi Shimizu's dark magic while on a quest from the adventurer's guild. Even when she was snapped out of the mind control after being defeated by Hajime and explaining the circumstances behind her attack, Hajime was still willing to kill her out of the annoyance of her attacking him, which Shea compared to her own first meeting with him. His attempt on her life while ignoring her circumstances and pleas shocked and terrified her until Yue convinced him to spare her. After this first encounter which involved arguably "tainting" her, Hajime has been followed by the masochistic and incredibly perverted Dragonmen who refers to him as her "master". Hajime constantly finds himself punishing her for her various misdeeds during their travels, which makes Tio incredibly happy much to his dismay and the disgust of everyone else.
While in his unofficial date with Shea, Hajime admitted that he did not think of Tio as a bad person, only a pervert.
In Volume 4, Hajime trusted Tio enough to be Myu's guardian when he, Yue and Shea go to the Great Orcus Labyrinth to save his former classmates.
In Volume 5, during their fight against Freid Bagwa, Tio admitted her true love for Hajime before escaping per his orders. Since then, Hajime has become "slightly" more tolerant of her and sees Tio as a member of their group. He also has great respect for her wise decisions and being able to remain calm in situations where even Yue couldn't keep her composure.
This, in addition to her always doing her best to get along with everyone and her superb insight, has caused Hajime to admit to himself that if it wasn't for her perverseness, she could be the perfect woman for him. However, in one of the Vol.10 short stories, even when Tio was transformed into Super Tio, the wise and graceful princess of the Dragonmen she's supposed to be, thanks to Yue's Spirit magic, Hajime realized and admitted out loud that he prefered the perverted Tio instead, and changed her back to her normal self by insulting her.
While initially Tio joined Hajime's Party with the intention of using him to fight Ehit, who destroyed her country out of revenge, it was revealed that Hajime knew this from the beginning, which is why he had her and Aiko aid him during his battle against Noint by eliminating the Holy Church members, who were interfering, thus helping her achieve her revenge.
Hajime later confesses that he loves her when her grandfather and the rest of the Dragonmen Tribe decided to help him to wage war on Ehit. While Hajime's treatment and feelings have improved, he still doesn't hesitate to punish Tio like before, both out of affection and annoyance.
Shizuku Yaegashi[]
Hajime cannot handle Shizuku for she knows his secrets, such as his middle school chunni habits. Despite this, Hajime regarded Shizuku as the most reliable of all his classmates. Hajime always had a positive opinion of Shizuku because she always helped him out before they were summoned to Tortus and didn't cause him any trouble, unlike Kaori.
Shizuku sympathized with Hajime's plight as the target of bullying by Daisuke and his gang as a result of Kaori's infatuation with him due to her similar circumstances in the past as Kouki's childhood friend. Even after his transformation, he still spoke with her more nicely compared to the rest of his classmates. The way he got along with Shizuku caused Yue to see her as the "the last boss", who she and Kaori might have to go against for Hajime's feelings. He was also willing to help her out on many occasions, including giving her one of his masterpieces, a new enchanted Black Blade Katana that works better for her fighting style and consoling her after Kaori's death. After reviving Kaori, Shizuku owed Hajime a great debt for saving her best friend. Unlike Kouki, Shizuku doesn't condone Hajime for killing Daisuke (when she only condemned the traitor for what he done to Kaori) or not revealing of Ehit's true nature as an evil god early upon their reunion.
After conquering the trials in the true Haltina Labyrinth, Shizuku couldn't stop thinking about Hajime due to her own preferences for men that she can rely on, in addition to her living an illusion where Hajime is her prince. It was during this event that Shizuku realized that she loves Hajime, due to him being the only man who sees beyond her strong and mature exterior, protects her and does not expect her to always be strong.
However, Shizuku refused to accept her feelings, thinking that she would be cheating on Kaori. These feelings also made her unconsciously jealous of Shea, when Hajime declared her as his second lover.
In Volume 9, after Hajime saved Shizuku from being killed by her Frost Caverns of Schnee doppelganger and also gave her encouragement to accept her negative feelings that allow her to defeat her doppelganger, it cemented Shizuku's resolve to pursue her love for Hajime. Happily accepting a hand-crafted hair clip type restoration Magic Artifact from Hajime as his second present to her, Shizuku peacefully slept on Hajime's back as he carried her to find the others.
In Volume 10, after Hajime stopped a corrupted Kouki's rampage without killing him, with gratitude and love, Shizuku affectionately kissed Hajime on the cheek, confessing her love for him, and she will do anything to become his lover which Hajime silently accepted and did not reject compared to the time he received Kaori's love confession, given how he has already decided to practice polygamy with the other women of his harem.
After she returned to Japan, Shizuku became one of Hajime's wives. Unfortunately, her so-called "fans" of the "Soul Sisters" (who are actually her annoyances) failed to try to break her relationship with Hajime and the students of her family's dojo failed at attacking Hajime only for both these groups to be easily defeated and completely humiliated by Hajime which after they caused misfortune to Shizuku.
Aiko Hatayama[]
His homeroom teacher who was transported to Tortus along with her students. At first, she thinks of him as one of the students that she cares for. She feels very responsible for his apparent death and does whatever she can to protect her students, even using herself as a bargaining chip.
In Volume 3, when it was revealed that he was still alive, Aiko was relieved that he had survived but was dismayed by his completely changed personality. Having a become a cold, cruel, ruthless, sadistic and indifferent man, but at the same time, happy that Hajime found people he trusted.
When she found him again, after hearing Yue and Shea declare that they are Hajime's women, Aiko misinterpreted things thinking that Hajime was playing womanizer instead of worrying about returning.
Later at the end of Volume 3, when Hajime had killed Shimizu, knowing that he had done it for her sake, she becomes conscious of him as a member of the opposite sex. In Volume 6, Aiko comes to accept that she loves him after he saved her from Noint and he comforts her after she and Tio destroyed the Holy Church and killed all the people inside, although she's still troubled with the fact that she is older and his teacher.
However, Hajime later pointed out both of her problems are meaningless as he will stop being her student after he graduates high school and their age different is pretty pointless considering how much older Yue and Tio are in comparison.
Liliana S. B. Heiligh[]
Main story[]
The Princess of the Heiligh Kingdom. She is one of the few people in Heiligh Kingdom who did not look down on Hajime due to his lack of combat skills and treated him kindly compared to everyone else in Heiligh Kingdom, who dismissed him as worthless.
In Volume 4, when she heard from Shizuku that Hajime had survived and Kaori decided to travel with him, she tried to dissuade her father, the nobles, and the Holy Church from declaring Hajime a heretic so that both he and Kaori could have a place to return to, but to no avail. After her father and nobles started behaving oddly, she decided to leave the Heiligh Kingdom in secret to go searching for Kaori and Hajime to get help as they were the only people left she could trust.
In Volume 6, when she learned that Hajime cares nothing about the people of Tortus, she was able to convince him to come back to the Heiligh Kingdom with her to save Aiko. At the Heiligh Kingdom, Hajime was able to defeat Noint and fighting the Demon army who were invading the Kingdom. Liliana is very grateful to Hajime for saving the Heiligh Kingdom and wanted him to stay as a deterrent against future Demon attacks, which he refused but he compromised by repairing the capital's barrier much to her delight.
After she managed to convince Hajime to drop her off in the Hoelscher Empire, she later grew angry and exasperated with Hajime due to him causing her trouble during her diplomatic trip. After Hajime's arachnea golem stopped Prince Baius attempt to rape her, Liliana became smitten with Hajime due to him rescuing her in her time of need. During the engagement ball, she asked Hajime if he could save her, and Hajime agreed due to her being one of Kaori's precious friends, causing Liliana to fall in love with him. After the “The Haulia Rebellion”, Liliana would attempt to get closer to Hajime, but he would usually ignore her, causing her to become tearful.
the After Story[]
It is revealed that Liliana finally succeeded in getting Hajime to fall in love with her. When Hajime returns to Tortus, he takes Liliana back with him to Earth with the blessing from her subjects, as they had originally believed she had eloped with Hajime and their desire to see the Princess who they care for happy. She is very happy when he flirts with her and spoils her, blushing when it seems apparent that the two of them would become physically intimate. Hajime is the first to notice Liliana's workaholic habits and tries to help her get rid of them.
Remia[]
Remia is one of Hajime's wives. She sees Hajime as a savior and a father figure for Myu that led her to pretend to be in love with Hajime in consideration of her daugher's feelings before falling in love with him for real as time progress. She even addresses him as "darling" several times when talking to him and enjoy acting as his wife while they are together but became his real wife after he brought her and Myu to Japan.
Myu[]
In Fuhren, Hajime and Shea saved her when she was escaped from her prison cell inside the sewers who were controlled by Freidhof at the time. Myu immediately bonded with them and began to call them "Onii-chan" and "Onee-chan". They brought her to Fuhren's guards in the hopes that they could return her home to safety, much to her dismay. But their building was soon attacked by other members of Freidhof and managed to capture Myu again. They left a message that demanded that Hajime and Shea meet them if they wish to see Myu alive. Because of this, Hajime's Party attacked all Freidhof's locations and destroyed all of their hideouts in Fuhren to put an end to slave trades forever. After Hajime's Party saved her again, she began calling him "Papa" much to Hajime's chagrin. Although initially disliking being called ´Papa´, Hajime quickly became a loving, caring and overprotective father for Myu and insists that all those who abuses her suffer for their insolence. After returning Myu to Remia, who started referring to Hajime as her husband, Hajime decided to take them with him once he returns to his world, which both Remia and Myu happily agreed to.
Cam Haulia[]
The relationship between the two is complicated to say the least. Hajime respects him as a father-in-law but has trouble with his chunni actions and the fact that Cam sees him as his superior officer.
Lundel S. B. Heiligh[]
Liliana's younger brother and the Crown Prince of Heiligh Kingdom. Lundel hates Hajime for "stealing" Kaori from him and seducing his sister, who he respects. He always challenges Hajime to a fight only to be hit by Hajime with a sugar cube, while Hajime himself finds Lundel's attempts humorous and interesting.
Luluaria S. B. Heiligh[]
Liliana's mother and Heiligh Kingdom's Queen. She is grateful to Hajime who saved her Kingdom and the world of Tortus from Ehit. When Liliana returned from the Empire and complained about Hajime, Luluaria got into high spirits unbecoming for her age. She is happy that Liliana found love since she feels guilty about how much Liliana has done for the Kingdom including offering herself to marry Prince Baius D. Hoelscher for the sake of having the Empire help the Kingdom despite her own misgivings about him and her maidenly desire to find love. However, she is worried about her daughter's habit of working too hard for the sake of the Kingdom and how she would not be able to build a good marriage life. She is one of the few people that Hajime talks with respectfully.
Adul Klarus[]
Tio's grandfather and the leader of the Dragonmen Tribe. Hajime meet him before the final battle against Ehit. Hajime treated him respectfully and apologized for turning Tio into a pervert, resolving to receive a punch from him before the final battle begun. While shocked by his granddaughter's transformation, Adul accepted it.
He asked Hajime if he truly loved Tio, as Adul wouldn't allow Tio to risk her own life by going into the Holy Precincts with unclear feelings. Hajime answers that while he is in love with Yue, he also loves Tio. Satisfied with his answer, Adul asks that Hajime take care of Tio, to which Hajime promises to take care of her until the end of his life.
Adul is grateful to Hajime that Tio has found her happiness. During the final battle, he witnesses and compliments Hajime's power while expressing amazement at Hajime's Artifacts that strengthened him. Adul is one of the few people Hajime treats respectfully and is the person he respects most among the adults that he knows, so much so that Hajime's own father became jealous of their interaction.
Whenever Adul witnesses Tio's happiness or gets complemented by Hajime and Myu, he loses his imposing dignified aura, instead transforming into a good-natured old man.
Tomoichi Shirasaki[]
Kaori's father. Hajime's relationship with Tomoichi can best be described as complicated due to Tomoichi's doting towards his daughter. Most of the time, Tomoichi is hostile towards Hajime because he's dating Kaori, while also having a harem. Hajime understands Tomoichi's feelings on this well enough to admit he would feel the same way if something similar happened to his own daughter, Myu.
At the same time, Tomoichi is grateful to Hajime for protecting his daughter and bringing her home, something he's willing to admit. There are also times when Tomoichi can sympathize with Hajime when it comes to being a father and is willing to lend his experience to him, such as when it comes to dealing with an angry daughter or being confined by their respected wives (Kaori and Kaoruko). Other times, Tomoichi is usually amazed or disturbed by Hajime's artifacts.
Kaoruko Shirasaki[]
Kaori's mother. She is more openly supportive of Kaori's relationship with Hajime than her husband.
Yaegashi Family[]
Hajime has a complex relationship with the Yaegashi family. While they are grateful to Hajime for protecting Shizuku and allowing her to be more honest with herself by being more girly, they also repeatedly attack Hajime every time when he visits Shizuku's Dojo and due to him having a harem while proclaiming himself as Shizuku's lover. Nevertheless, Hajime bears no ill will towards them and gets along with them, although he sympathizes with Shizuku when her family's secret ninja habits become a bother to deal with. They also have a lot of interest in Hajime's Artifacts and have made some request for him, such as him building him a secret underground space for him or selling him a Neuralyzer New.
Enemies[]
Ehit[]
Ehit was the God of Tortus that summoned Hajime and his classmates to serve as pawns in his game for his own amusement. At first, Hajime had an instinctive fear of Ehit when he saw his portrait in the Holy Church. Hajime later learns of Ehit's true Evil nature through the projection of Oscar Orcus and how he manipulated the world in order to stop the Liberators uprising against him, as well as his continuous manipulation of all living beings of Tortus. Learning this, Hajime abandoned all of his respects for Ehit as he swears that he will kill him if he gets in his way.
Despite his newfound hatred for Ehit, Hajime at first had no intention of carrying out the Liberators' mission of destroying Ehit, preferring to focus on obtaining Ancient Magic for the sake of returning to Earth with his companions. Due to being the only one alongside Yue to have learned of Ehit's true nature in the Great Orcus Labyrinth, Hajime had come under Ehit's notice as Hajime had refused to obey Ehit's creed as one of his so called chosen heroes by rejoining his classmates and to aid the Holy Church in the war against Demons.
Having foreseen Ehit's schemes through the Liberators past defeat, Hajime had tried to warn Aiko about Ehit's true nature in order to prevent his classmates under Kouki's delusional pride and leadership to come after him under the Ehit's manipulation as well as the fact Hajime had prevented tragedies stemming from Ehit's instigation of the Demons such as saving the Lake Town of Ur as well as the Dukedom of Ankaji. Seeing his new change, Ehit fears Hajime more than the Liberators and considers him as "Irregular" and wishes to remove him from the "game board" as he has become too powerful and disruptive to his plans as his greatest pawns: the Holy Church, the Heiligh Kingdom and his other chosen Heroes including Kouki himself could do nothing as they are too weak against Hajime, thus sending his Apostle Noint to assassinate him. However, when Hajime killed Noint and used her corpse to revive Kaori as an insult to the God, Ehit is shown in both fear and rage.
With the help of his teacher Aiko and princess Liliana of managing to reveal the truth, Hajime has successfully made the Human worshippers who were once devoted to Ehit, turning against him as well having Nagumo's name cleared from his falsely accused heresy through Ehit's lies and deceptions after learned they were being used as playthings in his childishly "chessboard". Hajime criticized to the so-called "chosen heroes" and the entire citizens of Heiligh Kingdom that Ehit is extremely psychotic and all their efforts on behalf of the so-called "God" were completely meaningless after they were only dying in pointless wars and sacrificing innocent lives for Ehit's amusements when he revealed the king, nobles and the Pope were brainwashed by Noint into worshipping Ehit.
When Tio revealed to Hajime that Ehit was responsible of her parents and people's deaths, Hajime decided to fulfill Tio's wish to kill Ehit.
However, when Ehit's pawns notice that Yue (Ehit's long lost desired host was Hajime's companion) he changed his plans and focused on securing Yue as his host body. Knowing that Hajime and Yue are powerful enough to clear the remaining Labyrinths, Ehit decided to wait until Yue managed to acquire all of the Ancient Magic to possess her as he sent all his Apostles to aid Freid in capturing all of Hajime's classmates as well as Myu and Remia, so they would serve as hostages until Hajime foiled it. Hajime then fought Ehit while in control over Yue's body until she broke free from his control and allowed Hajime to kill Ehit and put an end to his games forever. During their battle, it also became even more insulting for Ehit when he realized that while Hajime was aiming to kill him, it was not to save Tortus from his manipulations like the Liberators and Kouki wanted to, but simply because Ehit was just another enemy for him to kill for standing in his way and to avenge Tio's people.
Freid Bagwa[]
Hajime is the sworn enemy of the Grand Commander of the Demon army in Garland, as well as an Ancient Magic user.
Freid became aware of Hajime's existence when Hajime foiled the Demon Invasion of Ur and the ambush of the "Hero Party" in the Great Orcus Labyrinth, in which his subordinate Cattleya lost her life. Seeing that Hajime kept interfering in his plans, Freid went to the Grand Gruen Volcano to obtain it's Ancient Magic in order to become stronger for his confrontation with Hajime. In Volume 5, Freid managed to ambush Hajime at the Grand Gruen Volcano, but was unable to defeat him as Hajime, despite his injuries, still can fight back against Freid, injuring him in turn thus forcing him to retreat.
In Volume 6, the severely wounded Freid faced Hajime again during the Demon Invasion of the Heiligh Kingdom, as he tried to ambush Hajime and trying to take his classmates hostage, foolishly believing that Hajime was fighting for the Kingdom and that he thought that he could make Hajime surrender by using his classmates as hostages to force Hajime to give him the locations of the Labyrinths. Hajime scoffed at him, as he wiped out 100,000 of Freid's monster army with his Hyperion satellite laser weapon before calling Freid a fool and refused to give him the locations of the Labyrinths for his ignorance and dimwittedness as well threatening to kill him and destroy the rest of his army unless he retreat due to him underestimating Nagumo. Though furious, Freid did not want to waste his comrade's lives, though he swore in the name of his God that he would kill Hajime the next time they meet as he retreats. However, his vengeance towards Hajime is nothing but an empty threat as Freid and his wyvern were slain by Tio after Hajime easily tricked Freid and the demons with false surrender.
Noint[]
Hajime was Noint's would-be assassination target, killer and reviver.
When Ehit sent Noint, his top Apostle to assassinate him, Hajime wasn't impressed with her. He mocked Noint during their fight as being more than she can handle. Hajime ultimately killed Noint after a long battle and later used her corpse as a vessel to revive Kaori with spirit magic, after she was killed by Daisuke to both save her and to insult the Evil God Ehit. After returning Kaori back into her original body, Hajime kept Noint's body to any case if Kaori dies, he will revive her with Noint's body over and over again.
After Hajime revived Kaori with Noint's body, the former apostle transferred her spirit to one of Hajime's spider golems along with Hearst and renamed herself Netemp. Eventually, she decided to become a loyal subordinate to him.
Hearst[]
One of the Apostles present during the decisive battle. After getting killed by Shea, she joined Noint in one of Hajime's spider golems and renamed herself Etemp.
Alva[]
Hajime is the killer of the so-called "God" of the Demon race. Alva was the Demon Lord of Garland possessing the body of Yue's deceased uncle Dienleed Galdea Vesperitio Avatarl.
When confronting him after Alva failed to try to use Remia and Myu as hostages as well trying to escape, Hajime trapped Alva into a small cage using concept magic and tortured him within an inch of his life of telling him for the location of Yue. When the severely tortured and agonized Alva begged Hajime to spare him, saying that he will be a completely loyal servant or guide to lead him to Yue, only for Hajime to ruthlessly kill him by shrinking the chains within the cage and turn Alva into non-existence.
Daisuke Hiyama[]
Hajime's former bully and self-proclaimed love rival as well his victim. Before being summoned to Tortus and falling into the Abyss, Daisuke and his gang bullied Hajime for preventing Kaori Shirasaki from falling in love with him. In the Orcus Labyrinth, Daisuke secretly betrayed his classmates by his attempted murder of Hajime.
After Hajime survived and became a ruthless murderer, Daisuke became terrified of him because of his monstrous strength that Hajime used to massacre many Monsters and Cattleya with ease. When Hajime gave a warning to Kouki that even though they were his former classmates, he will murder anyone who gets in his way, and when he easily defeated Kouki in an unarmed duel, Daisuke is shown stunned by fear that he is now no match for Hajime.
When Hajime's Party prepare to leave while Kaori is joining him, Daisuke attempted to feign his apology to him and tries to "convince" Hajime to forget what he had done to him and his mistreatment he gave him in the past in order for Hajime to rejoin the Hero Party (just so he could get closer to Kaori). At that point, though, Hajime didn't care about his previously mistreatment as it didn't hold any meaning to him anymore, he refused to return to the Party by calling Daisuke worthless and weak. As he could see madness in Daisuke's eyes, on top of subtlety exposing hints of knowing it was Daisuke's attack that caused him to fall into the Abyss, Hajime would warn him to stay out of his way if he wishes to live, which caused Daisuke to become even more terrified of Hajime. After Kaori leaves with Hajime, in addition to him being aware of his actions at the Orcus Labyrinth, Daisuke suffered a complete mental breakdown, allowing himself to become a deranged lunatic.
In Volume 6, when Daisuke was revealed to be a traitor alongside Eri and temporarily murdered Kaori, this enraged Hajime so much that he fought Daisuke and overpowered him with ease, breaking nearly every bones in his body and damaged a majority of his vital organs. While Hajime gripped the weakened yet deluded Daisuke's neck, he continually tormented and beat up his former bully as he called Daisuke a vapid, selfish and pathetic bully.
Ultimately, Hiyama's downfall was that he blamed Hajime for always getting in his way of Kaori attention, insolently bragging with his final words of how he will persistently try to kill Hajime and make Kaori his girlfriend one day, which was nothing more than an empty threat (although Hajime was willing to spare Hiyama if he could repent only to realize he's beyond any hope of salvation). When his self-proclaimed love rival left Hajime no choice but to kill him for his insolence, Nagumo is going to make Daisuke pay for what he has done and placing Hiyama out of his misery by kicking him out to the courtyard filled with a horde of incoming Monsters and watched pitilessly when Freid's army devoured Hiyama alive while dying in fear and agony as he screamed for help. But to no avail because nobody likes him anyway. With this, Hajime got his vengeance for Daisuke's betrayal after what he did not only to Hajime and Kaori, but also countless innocent people he murdered for Eri's schemes.
After murdering him, Hajime made this murder a lesson to his other classmates of what would happen if any of them dares to cross him and break his absolute warning by harming one of his companions. This caused his former classmates and former bullies who were now only more so terrified of his ruthlessness and demonic strength such as Shinji Nakano and Yoshiki Saitou, to repent in front of Hajime and swear to never get in his way, but the former still finds them all annoying. Hajime also scolded an ignorant Kouki for his naïve expectations that his classmates are naturally obligated to help and protect each other just because they are classmates, which is nothing but childish and ridiculous nonsense. Because it was due to those very fallacies that allowed the traitorous, dimwitted Hiyama and the psychopathically intelligent but cowardly Eri to betray him and their class as a whole, without Kouki or the others ever noticing it until it was too little too late. When asked what really happened to him after his "fall", Hajime destroyed Hiyama's already tarnished reputation by enlightening his classmates that Hiyama was responsible for the incident and that it was never an accident. These revelations caused almost all of his classmates to lose the slightest ounce of sympathy they had left for Hiyama and will never forgive him upon his death. Every single one of Hajime's former classmates held bitter memories of hating Hiyama for his arrogance, treachery, lies and deceptions from both in school and in Tortus. Unfortunately, Kouki was the only one who condemned Hajime for Hiyama's death due to his misguided adamant belief in his impractical ideals and general jealousy towards Hajime for not only being more powerful than he is. But for having a harem of the most beautiful girls (including Kaori and later Shizuku) surrounding him.
After Ehit's death and returning to Japan, Hiyama's family tried to get revenge on Hajime but failed and like their son, they were easily defeated by him. Though this was because they were unaware of Hiyama's betrayal and his temporary murder of Kaori due to their own lack of insight into their son's true malignancy. When they realized their now-deceased child's actions in Tortus, his ignorant parents suffered an extreme emotional and psychological breakdown and gave up their vendetta after learning their son had done such terrible things.
Eri Nakamura[]
One of Hajime's classmates who was also a traitor working for Garland as a spy.
It is unknown of how Eri personally felt about him, but was willing to kill him and the rest of their classmates due to them being in her way of making Kouki hers. Like Hiyama, Eri was also surprised not only by Hajime's survival, but came to be terrified of his monstrous strength and murderous intent when he killed Cattleya with ease. Upon his arrival during the Demon Invasion, Hajime prevented Eri's "Soul Blind" from turning Kaori into Daisuke Hiyama's undead slave. When the enraged Hajime marched towards the traitorous psychopath following Kaori's temporary death, Eri showed her fear of Hajime as she begged her former classmate to spare her life in exchange for making Kaori his undead slave, though this only made Hajime exhibit an even greater fury as he had no need for Eri or her dirty bargaining offer to do that, because he had already acquired Spirit Magic and was willing to kill the cruelly deranged Nakamura despite her willingness to abandon Hiyama. Eri sent her undead soldiers to attack Hajime only for them to be easily destroyed by him. She then tried to attack him with daggers, only for him to easily overpower and torture the psychopath worse than what her mother and stepfather did with her in the past. Her fear only deepened when Hajime prepared to kill her, while disregarding whatever reasons and motives she had for her betrayal but was prevented by Hiyama's interference when he attacked Hajime with a fireball spell despite Eri having already betrayed Hiyama. After the death of Daisuke, she got away with Fried when he and what remained of his forces retreated with no further options due to Nagumo singlehandedly having wiped out 100,000 of Bagwa's troops with his satellite laser. In Garland, she suggests that Remia and Myu will make good hostages against Hajime. Later when Eri captured Yue and presented her body to Ehit, Hajime was shown to be enraged and was determined to kill Eri for taking Yue away from him since she dashed away her only chance for redemption. Though he seems no longer needed to do that when Eri died by committing suicide in an attempt to kill Suzu in the final battle because of wanting to avoid being captured and killed by Hajime.
Soul Sisters[]
Hajime is the "Soul Sisters'" sworn enemy and bully as well as the annoyance of his wife, Shizuku.
For the failed attempted to force Hajime to break up with Shizuku and their constant harassment of him, Hajime easily repelled and bullied the Soul Sisters by grabbing one of them by the neck to force her to drink his laxative before tying up her ponytail hair even using a permanent marker on her face to humiliate her and entire "Soul Sisters" at the wedding photo shoot as a warning if they challenged him again. After gotten humiliated by him, everyone were laughing at them at school much of their embarrassments.
MOTHER (A.I.)[]
The A.I. and self-proclaimed goddess who fought against Hajime and Kouki in the Factory World. It was thanks to him that Mother gets agitated pretty easily despite normally being calm and composed. After being defeated by him and his overwhelming army of Grim Reapers and so on, she was terminated by G10.
Crystabel & his manly women squad[]
Just like with the rest of his enemies, Hajime sees them as more of annoying people and if it weren't for Yue and the rest of his party, he would have "massacred" them already. Crystabel and the group do not have any ill-intentions against him, which makes it harder for Hajime to kill them. Ironically, it was Hajime and Yue's own smashing habits that created so many manly women, much to his own horror and regret whenever it's pointed out (similar to how he feels about the Haulia tribe).
In the After Story in the Fairy World, he, Kouki, and Kousuke met Blau Niebel, the priestess of the Heaven Tree. Although she is not part of the squad, her appearance and gestures were all too similar to Crystabel, except that she had fairy wings. At first, Hajime and the others almost fell into despair, thinking that all the fairies would look like her, until the goddess reassured them that its only Blau and her clan are like that. Still, that didn't stop Hajime from almost losing his sanity from simply seeing her presence. After hearing that Blau would act as the goddess' retainer, Hajime pleaded that by doing so it would cause the world to run rampant with manly women (in his eyes, Blau would become the goddess of manly women, which is more than a nightmare for him).
Close Associates[]
Yuka Sonobe[]
Yuka is one of Hajime's classmates who was transported to Tortus. Yuka is grateful to Hajime for saving her life in the Great Orcus Labyrinth from the Traum Soldiers and wishes to pay him back. She is shown to have a crush on him as time passes. The two of them get along to the point that most of the other students in her class call her his 'mistress' (though they both deny any romantic involvement between each other). Hajime has admitted he trusts Yuka and feels comfortable talking to her about his problems.
Helina Ashe[]
Princess Liliana's personal maid. She now serves Hajime as the leader of the Fleur Knights combat maid group. Helina Ashe is shown to treat Hajime as more of her master than even Liliana as she enjoys serving him and the two of them have a proper relationship of master and servant. Hajime is shown to prioritize Helina Ashe Ashe's instructions rather then Liliana's wishes, which annoys Liliana, as her husband is listening to her maid despite Liliana's status as a princess. Helina Ashe was responsible for helping Hajime to create the Fleur Knights by scouting out various members for the group. Hajime appointed her as the maid leader of the Fleur Knights.
Kousuke Endou[]
He is one of Hajime's closest friends, and he is considered as the 'Right-Hand of the Demon King'. Though Kousuke didn't use to have much interaction with him before the 'Summoning Incident', he was still affected by Hajime's supposed death in Great Orcus Labyrinth. But after learning that he was still alive, and learned about his journey and how he was able to overcame all the odds, Kousuke started to have respect towards him, especially after Hajime helped him rescue his friends who were ambushed in the Great Orcus Labyrinth.
Later in the After Story, when Kousuke was entranced by Lana, he went on to ask her out repeatedly. After countless attempts, Lana gave him the condition of clearing a Great Labyrinth and landing one hit on their boss, a.k.a. Hajime, before she would consider going out with him. Kousuke managed to solo the Great Reisen Labyrinth, and came to challenge Hajime for the 2nd condition. Despite Hajime being in recovery and certainly not in his prime, seeing Endou burning with determination fired Hajime up to take him on. Endou succeed in landing one scratch on Hajime's face, thus fulfilled the 2nd condition for Lana's hand, and won Hajime's respect since then. After the students return to Japan, Kousuke becomes the only member of the Returnee's group who stays active and does various tasks for and with Hajime in order to protect and manage the safety of everyone close to them.
Because of his upcoming marriage with Lana and becoming next in line to be Haulia's chieftain means Endou will become part of Hajime's extended family; in addition to Lana's desire of wanting to gather 7 wives for Kousuke, and the fact that the "Abyss Lord" powers of Kousuke turned him into a chūni, Hajime started to have a really close relationship with Kousuke and even considering him as a 'bosom friend'. Hajime also starts to egg Lana on her quest for a harem for Kousuke. This has resulted in many complicated situations for Kousuke, as a result.
Meld Loggins[]
The former Knight Commander of the Heiligh Kingdom that was entrusted with the responsibility for overseeing the training of the summoned Heroes from the other world. While Hajime wasn't as close to Meld as the front liners of his class, he always respected the captain, even after his transformation. This makes Meld one of the few adults in Tortus who Hajime truly respected and still speaks highly of him to this day. In Volume 4, Hajime was willing to use one of his Ambrosia to save Meld's life after he came to rescue him and the Hero party at the Great Orcus Labyrinth, admitting he didn't want him to die. Meld on his part was grateful that Hajime saved him and the others, happy that Hajime had survived and regretful that he failed to save him before.
In Volume 6, Hajime becomes saddened when he learned that Meld was killed and became one of Eri's undead slaves. Expanded on in anime Season 2 episode 11, whereas Meld temporarily recovered his mind, Nagumo accepts his request to grant him a permanent peace by destroying his corpse that Eri was controlling with her necromancy. Hajime later visited Meld's grave to leave a flower, a token of remembrance and to honor him.
Lehman[]
Lehman is a fish monster of extreme rarity (monsters are predominantly incapable of speech and only instinct level of intellect) considered to be Hajime's first male friend since he was summoned to Tortus. When they first met at the Meerstadt aquarium in Fuhren where Lehman was being held, the fact that Hajime could keep up with Lehman's philosphical tract and how the former has an aura more akin to monster than that of human, quick friendship formed between the two right then and there. Realizing they're indirectly responsible in Lehman's confinement, Hajime engineered his escape.
Others[]
Kouki Amanogawa[]
Hajime has a neutral stance about Kouki and ignores the fact that the latter envies him. He only has a little bit of good intent towards Kouki because he is a close friend of Kaori and Shizuku. However, Hajime hates Kouki for the most part as he mostly considers the so-called "Hero" to be a large nuisance for him to deal with because of Kouki's bad habit of only believing what fits his own worldview and his annoying sense of justice even after he had failed so many times because of it. While Kouki one-sidedly sees Hajime as a rival, Hajime sees Kouki as a masochist Hero and an immature, stubborn, dimwitted and spoiled brat with grand words lost in his own delusions.
In Volume 4, as a former member of the "Hero Party", who had learned about Ehit's true nature as well as having become powerful enough to survive on his own in Tortus, Hajime refuses to take any orders from Kouki anymore as he was deeply annoyed by his self-righteous naïve beliefs and his delusional pride of being Ehit's chosen Hero which makes him think that he has the right to enforce his misguided justice upon Hajime's Party. This negative relationship is further enforced by them having completely opposite ways of thinking, as Kouki is an idealistic dimwit obsessing over his delusional sense of justice while Hajime is a disillusioned realist who only cares about surviving and returning to Japan with his harem.
When Hajime's comrades were greatly annoyed and disgusted by Kouki's insolence, he self-righteously challenged Hajime to an unarmed duel to claim them by force only to be easily defeated and humiliated by Hajime when he tossed the dimwitted Kouki into a pitfall filled with tear gas grenades to end such a pointless duel.
Hajime even preferred not to explain to Kouki about Ehit's true nature as an Evil God and his schemes in summoning their class to Tortus as pawns for his mad death game because he knew Kouki was dimwitted enough to never believe him given his delusional idealism, immense pride as Ehit's Hero of Tortus, and the hero worship he had received from Ehit's worshipers of the Holy Church and the Heiligh Kingdom before being revealed as a fabricated lie.
In Volume 6, even though Hajime saved him and the rest of his classmates twice already, Kouki still held immense resentment towards his former classmate as he couldn't accept Hajime's choices to abandon the people of Tortus to their own fate under Ehit's tyranny because it contradicts his own ideals. Unlike Ryutarou and Shizuku who appreciated Hajime for reviving Kaori, Kouki was the only one who doesn't express gratitude to Hajime due to both his jealousy and his stubborn adherence to his misguided self-righteousness and delusional justice. Kouki was also the only one who condemned Hajime for murdering Hiyama in spite of the traitor's atrocities.
Also in Volume 6, when Aiko and Princess Liliana exposed Ehit's true evil nature and his schemes to his classmates, Kouki stubbornly tried to blame Hajime for allowing Hiyama and Eri to betray them and allowing Freid to invade the Heiligh Kingdom by not warning them earlier about the truth of Ehit. Hajime, however, scolded the lack witted Amanogawa for his self-serving justice and idealism that really caused it, such as his naïve expectations that his classmates are naturally obligated to help and protect one another, something which none of them did all the times Hiyama and the Bastard Four bullied Hajime. A trait which are the very same fallibility that only allowed both Eri and Hiyama to betray everyone without even noticing until the last second. Hajime also coldly criticized Kouki's lack of resolve, that led to all his failures during the important moments despite originally being the strongest of them, when Kouki berated him for refusing to use his new-found powers of Ancient Magic for his useless justice as that is not what Hajime wanted, rather as what he desired is to use the power of "Age of Gods" magic to return to Japan. Hajime even disparaged Kouki's lopsided beliefs to be ridiculous and buffoonish, telling him that strength is nothing more than a curse if one must be obligated to do things simply because they have power to do so regardless of their own personal wishes.
On Kaori's request, Hajime gave Kouki, Suzu, Shizuku and Ryutarou another chance to join him in clearing the remaining Great Labyrinths and to gain Age of God's Magic. But he warned Kouki, if he continually enforces his delusions upon him and his comrades, it will be Kouki's turn to die in a miserable death similar to Hiyama.
Due to Hajime's new wild appearance, Kouki became more jealous of Hajime's ability of getting a harem of more beautiful girls (including Kaori and later also Shizuku), while he himself completely lost all of his popularity for girls after Hajime won their hearts. Kouki even furiously questioned why Hajime is the only one who has a harem when he himself doesn't have one.
Hajime also outright told Kouki in both the Heiligh Kingdom and again in the Hoelscher Empire that he himself doesn't care about the latter's misguided self-righteousness by clearly stating that they are neither friends nor comrades and certainly do not believe in the same ideology. Hajime also clearly stated he himself is not obliged to do things the way Kouki wanted like Shizuku and Ryutarou had and told Kouki that if he continues trying to force his stupid justice onto him then Hajime will break his arms and legs before sending him back to the Heiligh Kingdom.
In Volume 10, during their final trial in the Frost Caverns of Schnee Labyrinth, Kouki was corrupted by his doppelganger and he decided to try killing Hajime in order take his harem for himself and continue his pointless heroic crusade as Ehit's chosen Hero. Hajime finally lost his patience with Kouki's delusions and thus brutally retaliated by shooting both of Kouki's kneecaps and ruthlessly thrashing him. When continually overpowering Kouki easily, Hajime called Kouki pathetic in spite of his weak efforts. He also sharply criticized Kouki that the reason why he failed at everything he did in Tortus up until their second fight is because of his foolish choice to stubbornly prioritize both his delusional pride and naïve justice over everything else, especially the realization of his own goals. It got even worse when Kouki said Yue's name without honorifics, Hajime brutalized Kouki even further due to him having no right to say the name that he gave to Yue so casually. Hajime initially wanted to kill Kouki to prevent another similar situation from occurring again but chose to spare his life for Shizuku and Kaori's sake by separating him from his doppelganger and killing it before punching the latter unconscious, thereby ending another pointless fight between them. Hajime gives Kouki a final chance but warned him that is if he do something stupid like this for the last time. Hajime will kill him just like he murdered Hiyama.
When Hajime and Yue were creating the Crystal Key that would bring them back to Japan, Kouki and everyone else experienced what Hajime went through upon falling into the depths of the Great Orcus Labyrinth. Personally witnessing the pain, hunger, loneliness and his determination to survive and return home, Kouki was finally able to see that all of convenient misinterpretation of Hajime was completely wrong from the start and that all of his own problems in Tortus from his failures to the loss of his prestige as the "Hero" were utterly trivial compared to Hajime's hardships. He was also able to understand both Hajime's strong desire to return home and the source of his power along with why he couldn't match Hajime no matter what he tried to do, unlike when Shizuku tried explaining it to him. It's because of both the difference in their resolves to accomplish their goals and their circumstances that contributed to their strengths. This is reflected on that fact that Kouki had heavily relied on both Ehit's blessings of as his so-called "chosen hero" and the support from the former "Hero Party", the Heiligh Kingdom, and the Holy Church for pointless hero crusade. Hajime, on the other hand, was forced to survive the immense brutality of the Great Orcus Labyrinth on his own without Ehit's blessings or anyone else's support before discovering Yue there. However, even after seeing Hajime's memories of his "fall", he still stubbornly insists that Hajime stole everything from him and believes he's not mistaken in his belief out of a stubborn denial to accept his own negative qualities and failures.
In the After Story however, Kouki has trouble sorting out his feelings towards Hajime as due to his past actions and failures in Tortus, he therefore could not bring himself to be angry at Hajime but is rather disappointed at himself for being so completely indecisive and not strong enough to realize his ideals. Then he was summoned to another world named Arquette, particularly the Synclea Kingdom to be the Hero and defeat the "Dark Beings" that attack the kingdom. When they attacked, he thought about asking Hajime to transport the "Dark Beings" to another world, so that the people of Synclea Kingdom could be safe and the "Dark Beings" could survive without harming others. He was reminded of Hajime's way of prioritizing those close to him when he heard Koone's wish to save her sister above all. When Kouki was about to escape from Arquette that was attacked by the "Dark Beings", he thought about how he wanted to meet Hajime again along with his family and friends.
After defeating the "Dark Beings" that were attacking Arquette, Kouki resolved himself to fight for the sake of what he believed while accepting everything in contrast to Hajime's view of dividing the world between enemy and ally. Kouki and Hajime finally reunited when Kouki was about to be attacked by a pack of "Dark Beings", as Hajime dispatched them. Hajime then asked Kouki to go back with him, but Kouki refused as he wanted to save Moana. Thinking that Kouki's delusional Hero complex has returned, Hajime said that he would call Shizuku to give him a lecture, but Kouki resolved himself to stay to save Moana. After the rest of Kouki's friends left the decision of Kouki's retrieval to Hajime, he wanted to confirm if Kouki thought that his choice was correct to himself, to which Kouki responded that such a thing didn't matter, an answer that impressed Hajime. Hajime then went to defend Arquette so Kouki could save Moana as he sent Kouki off with the aid of griffon Grim Reapers. When asked by the others why Hajime lent Kouki his aid instead of dragging him back, it is revealed that Hajime was curious as to where Kouki (who has obtained an answer which is the opposite of Hajime) is going to end up. After helping defeat the "Dark Beings", Hajime was willing to grant Kouki's request of taking Moana with him.
Right after saving the Synclea Kingdom, however, Kouki was again summoned (and also Hajime) into another world named the Factory World by the combat-support A.I. G10 by coincidence. During their time in the Factory World, they worked together as they fought against an evil A.I. with the help of G10, Kousuke (who was summoned by Mother), Netemp, and Jasper.
After defeating Mother, Kouki got summoned again, this time to the Fairy World and now by an actual goddess named Aularodde Lea Refeat, while dragging Hajime and Kousuke with him, similar to the previous summoning.
Inaba[]
A rabbit that saw Hajime's battle with the claw bear in the Great Orcus Labyrinth and recognizes him as the lord of the floor. Gained true sentience after imbibing water from the Ambrosia. Eventually they met, and Inaba became one of Hajime's allies.
Oscar Orcus[]
Out of all the Liberators, Hajime respected Oscar the most due to being fellow Synergists, and Oscar's Labyrinth and Ancient Magic was the first one Hajime conquered and attained which Hajime used Oscar's collection of historical documents, notes, alchemist tools and artifacts in his hidden lair to further advance his own Synergist skills. Hajime's treasure trove ring and prosthetic arm were originally Oscar's masterpieces. It was through Oscar that Hajime got to learn about Ehit's true nature, and Hajime was able to gain insight towards Ehit's schemes due to Oscar's warning about the Liberators past defeat.
Miledi Reisen[]
Hajime respected Miledi for her determination of resolve to oppose Ehit, but was extremely annoyed with her mischievous nature due to all the traps and taunting insults he faced in the Great Reisen Labyrinth, and was irritated at Miledi for imposing her own wishes of overthrowing Ehit upon him which Hajime ironically fulfilled later for the sake of his lovers Yue and Tio who both were hurt by Ehit before.
Meiru Melusine[]
Hajime deeply respects Meiru for her wisdom and philosophy of independently relying on one's own efforts and abilities to realized their wishes instead of relying on others and giving into the temptation of the Evil God Ehit which Hajime also agreed from his own experience in conquering the dangers of the Great Orcus Labyrinth without relying on others. Meiru's labyrinth also gave Hajime greater insight and precaution against Ehit as Hajime correctly predicted that Ehit had sent his Apostle, Noint, to abduct Aiko as well as assisting Eri and Hiyama in betraying their classmates and Fried's Demon Invasion of the Heiligh Kingdom. Hajime would also later make use of Meiru's philosophy to criticize Kouki and his other classmates about their idealism and naivety as their careless over-reliance on others and also Ehit's blessings and protection as his so called "chosen heroes" was what gave the treacherous Eri and Hiyama the advantage of using their enhanced abilities from Ehit's blessing to massacre and zombify Meld and the other knights into undead soldiers that nearly killed them in the former's death trap without even realizing it. Especially Kouki who stubbornly clung onto his glory and pride as Ehit's chosen Hero even after Ehit's true nature was exposed due to his delusional Hero complex, even giving into the temptation of his misguided self-righteousness under Ehit's influence in the Frost Caverns of Schnee Labyrinth's doppelganger trial, failing not only his second attempt for Ancient Magic, and would have also nearly lost his own life by antagonizing Hajime by giving into Ehit's temptation as the members of the Holy Church did.
After Story[]
Koutaro Hattori[]
Koutaro has been in contact with Hajime for over a year as a member of the "Returnee Response Division", which is impressive by most standards since his predecessors could not even handle his job for three months. He is extremely scared of Hajime and always takes stomach medication at even the slightest gesture that is made by the Demon King. Hajime feels bad that he has inadvertently caused Koutaro to feel so much stress, but views him as a highly competent public servant.
Roze Phiris Avenst[]
Roze is the Queen of Avenst Kingdom from the Sky Dragon World. She is amazed at Hajime's powers and initially mistakes him to be the "Dragon Knight" that she hears from stories of her childhood. After getting to know Hajime and seeing how he mercilessly treats his enemies, Roze now views him as a Demon God, but still holds him in high regard. It is implied that she has romantic feelings towards Hajime.
Enti[]
Enti is the divine spirit of flowing sky from the sky spirit world. Of all the slime spirits, she is the one who interacted with Hajime the most, and he seemed to enjoy teasing her. She likes to sit on his head. She is very tsundere toward him, and is immensely happy when he invites her to be the goddess of the world tree that he plans to grow for the dimension inside his treasure trove. She marked him with the affection of a wind deity.
Heroic Side[]
Although being mainly an anti-hero, and although being quite uncaring towards those he doesn't care about due to his mistreatment from his classmates, Hajime proved to have a more compassionate side, one of the very few remaining traits of his former kindness, helping those in need when he can and/or as long as it is mutually beneficial.

Hajime killed many monsters, humans, demons, apostles and even Kouki's and his own doppelgängers, all pawns of the evil god-wannabe alien, Ehit, including his formerly bully Daisuke Hiyama when he unleashed multiple massacres and genocides throughout all of Tortus. He also killed the supposedly "god" Ehit himself, his retainer Alva, and his top Apostle Noint, which earned him the reputation as the God Slayer meaning he can kill any gods and immortals. After murdering Hiyama, he made this murder a lesson to his classmates, warning them that if they would cross him and his comrades (harem), he will have no problem in killing them. Hajime has killed 3 of his classmates (Yukitoshi Shimizu, Reichi Kondou and Daisuke Hiyama). Hajime has also killed women earning his reputation as a lady killer.

Powers and Abilities[]
- Mystical Mutation: Hajime gained this mutation by devouring powerful monsters' meat and drank a liquefied mana. He has bypassing level 100's limits. The cost of his mutation is no longer considered to be a human anymore.
- Supernatural Strength: After he devoured many powerful monsters and absorbing their powers for his mutation, Hajime get demonic strength more powerful than demons, Apostles and false gods after slaying Ehit and Alva. Hajime's strength is 12 times more powerful than the supposedly strongest, Kouki Amanogawa. His strength is even greater than strength blessed humans, beastmen, demons and Apostles such as when he killed Noint. His strength is unrivaled and has no equal meaning no one in the Hero Party and Garland's demon troops (such as the supposedly strongest, Kouki Amanogawa and the demons' general Freid) has the strength or power match his strength. His inhuman strength can easily break humans' bones and damage their internal organs even those who were blessed by physical power such as the traitor, Daisuke Hiyama, who was one of the supposedly strongest of the so-called "Hero Party". He easily defeated the supposedly strongest and the so-called "hero" Kouki Amanogawa twice in first the unarmed duel and later his second fight even merged with his doppelganger (which wasn't strong enough to defeat Hajime) without any efforts. His powers are too much for anyone to handle even a spell used by the pope and his bishops still wasn't powerful enough against Hajime when Hajime easily break free this spell and ruthlessly attacked both of the pope and his bishops. He blocked his enemies' weapons (which are blunted and dulled) with his bare fingers such as Meld Loggins' sword. He can easily break weapons and armors with his bare hands as he crumbled Kondou's spear and break both of Meld's and Hiyama's swords as well damaged Kouki's divine armor.
- Supernatural Mobility: Hajime has tremendous speed that not even the masochist hero Kouki Amanogawa can catch his speed and keep dodge attacks that he tried to hit Hajime. His speed is at least 12 times faster than one of his lover/wives, Shizuku Yaegashi.
- Durability/Invulnerability/Regenerative Healing Factor: When unleashed his crimson Mana during his fight with Noint, Hajime get invulnerability, tremendous durability (damage resistant) and regenerative healing factor. He doesn't get a single injury or a scratch from those attacks that are weak such as Cattleya's most powerful attacks, Kouki's sword attacks and Hiyama's fireball. His durability is at least 12 times tougher than Ryutarou Sakagami's. Even an ambush by Freid Bagwa is just not enough to kill Hajime but only to injury him. When his fight against Noint, Hajime only took one slightest injury as it nicked him a little. His regenerative healing factor heals his wounds and recovering himself even if its severe.
- Enhanced Senses: Hajime can sense through any magic attacks even sneak attacks. Along his emotionally intelligence, He can predict every move or plans his enemies who commends only for him to foil every of their plans to ensure his enemies will all be emerged to their defeats in miserable failures. Hajime sensed an evil spirit reeks inside of Kaori's body. Hajime even sensed a large number of monsters outside the courtyard where it is a perfect opportunity to send Hiyama to his demise. Hajime easily predicated that Eri attempt to use Reichi Kondou to stab him from behind when she foolishly believed Hajime "let his guard down" where she completely underestimating Nagumo and his powers.
- Power Absorption: While in his mutation, Hajime has the ability to absorb power from many powerful monsters by eating their meat. He continually devoured the monsters to gain more and more power. The more he eats the monsters, the greater his strength will increase, even further to the point that no ordinary human, not even those who were blessed with physical power, such as Kouki Amanogawa (his idiot classmate), could ever surpass him.
- Immunity: Due to devouring powerful monsters, Hajime has immunity to all source of conditions. He is immune from mind control. Due to drinking alcohol by his father, Hajime is immune from its intoxication.
- Spirit Magic: Hajime can revived anyone who temporarily died by using Noint's body as a vessel when he revived his lover and future wife, Kaori Shirasaki within 5 days.
- Master Hand-to-Hand Combat: Hajime never received any method for training before his mutation. With his mutation, Hajime has tremendous power of hand-to-hand combat. He can easily overpower the supposedly strongest humans, demons, and Apostles even without using his guns. His Hand-to-Hand combat skills are considered to be too dangerous when it holds the power to effortlessly break bones and damage vital organs from humans even those who are blessed with enhanced physical power such as when he thrashed his psychotic self-proclaimed love rival, Daisuke Hiyama, after the latter severely injured Kaori Shirasaki (who is Hajime's lover since she met him in middle school). Hajime has easily thrashed the so-called "chosen hero", Kouki Amanogawa without any efforts or sustain injuries after defeated him so easily even when he used "Limit Break" and merged with his doppelganger which are still too weak to match for Hajime.
- Body Modifications: Hajime has tremendous body modifications. He implanted a cybernetic arm and a eye-like gem to replace his missing body parts. While revived person resided into Noint's body, he made adjustments of modification of the revived person's original body with both Noint's genes and organs through undergo and transplant surgeries to make their bodies tough and cannot die so easily as he did modifications on his lover/wife Kaori.
- High Pain Tolerance: Hajime has shown to be incredibly resistant to injuries and pain, being able to survive just with minor injuries against powerful attacks of enemies such as Noint or Freid Bagwa.
- Electrokinesis: After devouring two wolf-like monsters, Hajime obtained lightning affinity. He can shock his enemies with lightning attacks. With using his revolvers, he imbued his lightning abilities with full charge blast. His lightning can charge liquids including blood such as when he easily electrified the monster (that cut off and eaten his left arm).
- Immense Intelligence, Tactics and Strategics: Despite of his average grades, Hajime is extremely emotionally intelligent even greater than one of his lovers/wives, Shizuku Yaegashi. He is fully aware that Kouki is so naive and delusional enough to not believe and get mad at him instead if he did tell him of Ehit's manipulations which is the reason he will not tell him. Hajime already know Hiyama was attempted to kill him before when he backfired Hiyama's plans towards him and his gang and will use the knowledge for Hiyama's demise when attempted to feign an apology to join Hajime's party purely to get close to Kaori Shirasaki (who is Hajime's lover since middle school). After defeated the weak and selfish Hiyama, Hajime revealed the true reason Kaori will never become Hiyama's girlfriend for his worthless life due to his lack of responsibilities which always caused Hiyama to his own failures as well as his downfall as Hajime was not expected Hiyama to survive when kicked toward the monster hordes. With the help of his teacher, Aiko Hatayama and Princess Liliana S. B. Heiligh, Hajime has successfully turned all of Ehit's human worshipers against the false god himself. Hajime also has the knowledge for strength and weaknesses. Hajime considered Noint as a weak "god's" puppet who stood no chance against him after killing her. He criticized Kouki the reason why Kouki kept on failing is due to his childish idealism even in their fight when Kouki foolishly merged with his doppelganger when Hajime considered Kouki to be an emotional and incompetent weakling who can never defeat him in both strength and willpower as he easily defeated him twice in an unarmed duel and later when Kouki merged with his doppelganger for a pathetic measly power up that is still too weak to defeat Hajime. Hajime knows the all Tortus worshiped the same fake god. Hajime is also one step ahead than the foolish demon general of Garland, Freid Bagwa as Hajime called him the foolish one after wiped out 100,000 demon troops. Unlike Kouki and Ryutarou who were both reckless when fighting their enemies head on without even thinking, Hajime is cautious and sharpish when considering to attack their enemies head on without thinking would lead them to an ambush. He knew that Kouki would eventually betray him because due to his delusions which did happen in the Frost Caverns of Schnee, when Amanogawa fused with his trial doppelganger which is still too weak against Hajime. To rescue Aiko, Remia, Myu and his classmates in Garland, Hajime faked his surrender to easily trick the demons and freed himself from the magic sealing cuffs when he unleashed the massacre upon the demons and the false demon god, Alva.
- Marksmanship: Like earth's military soldiers, Hajime has great accuracy of using firearms and grenades. His revolvers can penetrate high level monsters' durability and pierce through armors such as the Templar Knights and Kouki's strongest armor. While his sniper rifle is 10 times more powerful version than his revolvers. His pile bunker has the power to penetrate through defenses and pierce a powerful individual's weak points such as Noint's heart. One of his wives, Shizuku Yaegashi asked of Hajime's newly rank as a gunner which is unknown to him. Hajime can even hits targets without even looking such firing the monsters surrounding him, Noint of destroying her swords, shooting the undead Reichi Kondou's head off, easily dispelled Hiyama's fireball, shot a monsters who attempt to capture Shizuku and lastly shooting Kouki Amanogawa's kneecaps.
- Training Methods: Through his mutation, Hajime has a harsh and brutal training methods of turning weak willed people into a strong assassin. According to Ryutarou Sakagami, Hajime is considered to be a pupil of Gunnery Sergeant Hartman.
- Weaponry Creations: Hajime created powerful weapons with powerful ores similarities of Earth's military's firearm for war. His shield has powerful defense also reflects the attack back into his enemies. His hammer is one of his greatest masterpieces a gift to one of his lovers/wives, Shea Haulia. His black sword is one his greatest masterpiece that is light but cuts through anything and cannot be broken as it was a gift for one of his lovers/wives, Shizuku Yaegashi. His mini-gun has incredible power and hold 12000 bullets and his anti-tank rocket can caused great explosion though outnumbered but not outgunned. Hajime's orbital satellite laser can destroy countries and lands and the lives within when he demonstrated of extinguished over 100,000 demon troops under Freid Bagwa's commands. His shotgun shells don't contain ordinary gunpowder, but poison needles. He created powerful grenades and bullets from monsters' manas and genes. His Twin Iron Fans are powerful fans imbue the user's blood for barriers and tornadoes as it was a gift for Suzu Taniguchi to replace her failed enhanced bracelets. Though he may not be a creator of other weapons, Hajime can only enhance those weapons to strengthen them such as Ryutarou's gauntlets but cannot enhance weapons that have too much adjustments (such as Kouki's sword and armor) when only weakened the so-called "hero's" equipment.
- Vehicle Creations: Hajime created any source of vehicles for transportation. His motorcycle similar to an american gang's bikes while carries 3 people. His truck carried at least 10 people similar to military hummer. His bus carried 20 people. His submarine is similar to a navy submarine but lava-proof. His aircraft travel many places in few minutes. His speed boat is similar to a navy speed boat. Hajime not only created these vehicles for transportation, but equipped with heavy guns. Despite of him didn't get his driver licenses, he can still drive his vehicles.
- Medical Knowledge: Hajime created elixir to heal wounds even if it's severe. But it cannot help those are beyond saving such as Yukitoshi Shimizu after shot at the heart by unknown demon assailant.
- Murder and Torture Methodologies: Hajime has tremendous methods to murder, torture and harass those who are his enemies. In various occasions, Hajime harassed only two of his companions who are perverted to him such as Shea and Tio (though they always get use to it). In interrogation, Hajime tortures his enemies to give him all evidence and intellect that he needs before ending them such as Cattleya and Alva. He tortured the spirit who controls Kaori's body by using bullet that inflict pain mentally without physical harm to Kaori's body. For those who harmed his companions, Hajime tortures, abuses and kills those who harmed his companions in one of his worst methods when he brutally thrashed Daisuke Hiyama and later feed his former bully to the monsters after his supposedly murder on Kaori Shirasaki (who is one of Hajime's lovers since middle school). If anyone said Yue's name without honorifics, Hajime will brutalize those who hold no rights to say Yue's name in an even worse case because he gave her a name so casually when he easily thrashed Kouki Amanogawa (his classmate who is a self-deluded idiot).
- Terrakinesis: After his "blessing" and summoning, Hajime became a synergist, with the ability to transmutate materials. Realizing this, he learnt to use it in order to manipulate the earth under his feet, creating defensive barriers of various dimensions, from small to enormous. It is by using this capability that he allowed his classmates to escape from the Behemoth (allowing even Hiyama to eventually betray and try to kill him).
- Great Leadership: As the leader of the Returnees, his own party, which is not a part of the so-called "Hero Party", Hajime has a great leadership which allowed him and his party to easily win at every battles and successfully conquered the Great Labyrinths. He has splendid commands over his companions who are completely obedience and loyal towards him due to their undying love for him. His leaderships are also helps those to become strong from the resolves (except for Kouki Amanogawa due to his weak resolve and willed of devotion to his so-called "justice"). His commands over Yue are powerful enough to destroy anyone who stood in his path effortlessly even in large numbers. His commands over Tio are more powerful enough to destroy buildings easily including the Holy Church's Temple which purposely killed the pope and all of his bishops whom failed in their attempt to interfere Hajime's battle against Noint. His leadership over the fake heroes allowed themselves to successfully complete their trials (except for Kouki who is an idiot and the only one who failed in his trial because of his weaknesses and delusions even in his easy and effortless defeat at the hands of Hajime). Because of his powerful leadership, Hajime doesn't take orders from those who are weak and misguided such as Kouki due to his delusions pride and childish ideal of his useless heroisms as well Amanogawa's poorly leadership (that classmates started betraying him and the other students mainly Eri and Hiyama)
Weapons[]
- Donner & Schlag (ドンナー&シュラーク, Don'nā & Shurāku, "Thunder" & "Strike"?) - A pair of techno-magical revolvers that serves as Hajime's main weapons. They are 35 cm with a with six shot rotating-style magazine, and are from a composite alloy of Taur Stone, Shtar Ore and Azantium of highest quality found in the Great Orcus Labyrinth. When enhanced by the Skill "Lightning Field", it possess firepower surpassing an Anti-Tank Rifle withers bullets traveling at 3km/s. They can penetrate most high level Monsters' durability and blast through resilient armor from both the Templar Knights' armors and Kouki Amanogawa's Divine Armor which is the strongest armor artifact in the Heiligh Kingdom. They can also damaging bones from the inside when shot Kouki at his kneecaps which leaving bullet leads inside unless removing them in an undergo bullet removal surgery. They can easily dispelled weak attacks with their muzzles such as Hiyama's fireball and Kouki's attacks.
- Schlagen (シュラーゲン, Shurāgen, "Hit"?) - A magnetically accelerated version of an anti-materiel rifle. It had a 3 meter-long barrel and is 10 times stronger than Hajime's handguns, but it lacks a magazine can only be fired once before having to reload. Hajime is physically resilient and accurate enough to hip fire the weapon with just one hand despite the massive stopping power. In the manga it possesses a rectangular barrel that makes it bear a greater resemblance to a railgun, while in the anime it has a more conventional looking barrel which makes it resemble a gauss rifle more.
- Schlagen (シュラーゲン・・, Shurāgen ?) - (AA stands for "Acht Acht", an informal name for the German WW2 anti-tank cannon 88 mm) Electromagnetic Acceleration Large Caliber Sniping Cannon Schlagen AA 88mm. Performance wise, it's more akin to a hand held cannon than an anti-material rifle. It is designed for landing more precise shots, possessing a scope instead of a simple iron sight like the normal Schlagen. Its barrel has been lengthened to four meters long and has a more extensive caliber than the previous version, granting it drastically increased projectile velocity and stopping power.
- Metzelei (メツェライ, Metsuerai, "Slaughter"?) - A gatling gun based off a M134 Minigun. It has six barrels that are capable of firing 12,000 30mm caliber rounds a minute. The barrels are made out of a special self-cooling ore, but it still only be fired consecutively for about five minutes before overheating. In addition, it needs a long time to cool before it could use it again.
- Metzelei Disaster (メツェライ・デザストル, Metsuerai Dezasutoru?) - A super large electromagnetic acceleration Gatling cannon. Its size was enlarged by two sizes bigger. Furthermore, each of the six barrels consisted of also six barrels within them that was the same size as the barrel of the original Metzelei It fired off seventy-two thousand round per minute.

The stake is made with 4 tons of Azantium, and compressed via Compression Transmutation. It also has anchors to attach against hard enemies. It was later given gravity magic to help increase the power of the stake and had a compact version of the spatial magic spell "Void Fissure" enchanted into it as well, allowing it to pierce through any defenses.
- Gatling Pile Bunker (ガトリング・パイルバンカー, Gatoringu Pairubankā?) - Different from the Pile Bunker until now, the loaded pile bunker was two sizes smaller. But its might didn't decrease for even a bit, in a second twenty electromagnetically accelerated shots spiraled forward and the huge and super heavy black pike pulverized the target.
- Alvus (アルバス, Arubasu, "Hollow"?) - A shotgun that shoots out needles with a wide spread to eviscerate enemies. Instead of using gunpowder, Hajime packed the needles into miniature, disposable Treasure Troves which he’d made using evolution magic. By compressing them to an extremely small space, they shot out with lethal force when released. Furthermore, the needles were coated with a potent poison Hajime had found in the abyss.
- Grentzen (グレンツェン, Maryoku-hō Gurentsu~en, "Boundaries"?) - A weapon that bombards the enemy with mana. It is a black cannon with red accents. Hajime created this weapon based on his experience in the Sunken Ruins of Melusine, when he encountered enemies that could only be destroyed with mana. It is enchanted with the skills "Mana Manipulation", "Mana Emission", "Mana Compression", "Remote Manipulation", "Mana Absorption", and "High Speed Mana Recovery". All those skills were used as a base and included into the mana cannon. It focused not just Hajime’s mana but also the mana in the surrounding area, combined with gravity magic so it could compress that mana further. The mana bullets are then enchanted with spirit and evolution magic. The more compressed the mana was, the more the amount of mana of the target would be blown away.

Inside were loaded with gun and rifle bullets, they were operated using the bracelet where seven induction stones were installed. Moreover, the surface was covered with minerals which endowed with “Diamond Skin” using creation magic, so they could become strong shields as they reacted on the mana from induction stone. When becoming a shield it becomes a huge flower-like cross. It can also self destruct when the enemy is distracted by its shooting power and acts like a surprise attack. When four points were united a boxed-type barrier would be formed. It’s not just a simple barrier though, it’s the type that shuts out space itself through spatial magic.
- Cross Welts (クロス・ヴェルト, Kurosu Vueruto?) - The successor of the Cross Bit. It is black with red patterns and is two times smaller than the Cross Bits. All of the bullets fired were electromagnetically accelerated, furthermore all the Cross Welts were loaded with a special bullet named ‘Burst Bullet’, the heads of the Burst Bullet could released multi-stage shockwave concentrated to a single point, which made it easier to penetrate any target.

- Hyperion (ヒュベリオン, Hyuperion?) - The weapon Hajime used to fire the "Light of Condemnation." A pillar of light with a length of 50 m and disintegrates whatever it touches. It can be described as a laser beam satellite powered by magic and is a sunlight convergence laser. It is an enormous air-frame lens which converges sunlight, it can also charge itself while inside of the “Treasure Trove” which has heat capacity installed in it. Enormous heat which critically overflowed from the “Treasure Trove” would be discharged through the launching entrance where gravity magic was added in to make it discharge towards the ground. Its biggest feature was the fact that it could still converge the sunlight even while it was nighttime. Its secret was due to Oscar Orcus’s artificial sun which lit up his rooms, which was created through evolution magic, spatial magic and restoration magic. It has a remote control with an induction stone. It broke down after a single-use.
- Pulse Hyperion (バルス・ヒュベリオン, Barusu Hyuperion?) - An improved version of Hyperion that had been explosively evolved in heat quantity, convergence rate, lasting time, and so on that it couldn't be compared with the previous Hyperion. It can fire seven lasers that can branch out and scatter in all directions to prevent the enemy from escaping. Using the 'Farsight Stone' loaded on Pulse Hyperion, Hajime could even see the figure of people that are far away. Pulse Hyperion has a total length of around 5 meters.
- Compression Furnaces - Pulse Hyperion was loaded with exclusive "Treasure Troves" that converged and compressed sunlight inside.
- Mirror Bits (ミラー・ビット, Mirā Bitto?) - Bits with an isosceles triangle shape and size around 30 cm. They also have a crimson red gem installed on their surface. The role of the Mirror Bits were to reflect the sunlight convergence laser of Pulse Hyperion which was their mother machine. With that, they can exterminated the enemy from every direction. The bits had the word 'mirror' attached to their name, but they weren't reflecting the laser using a mirror but by making use of space distortion with spatial magic. Using that it was also possible to bend the laser in sharp angles. At a glance, it looks like nothing more than a reflection, hence the name.
- Rose Helios (ロゼ・ヘリオス, Roze Heriosu?) - They were special "Treasure Troves" that stored sunlight which was focused to the utmost limit. It was different with the Treasure Trove that was built internally to shoot lasers, so to speak it was a large scale heat bomb that made use of the sun’s energy by self-destructing to release all of the stored up energy at once. The heat that was continuously converged was liberated and caused a large explosion like a solar flare. (They are installed in Pulse Hyperion to increase it‘s firepower.)
- Solar Bombs - An upgraded version of Rose Helios, that is filled with highly compressed sunlight which was focused to the utmost limit. The heat that was continuously converged was liberated and caused a large explosion like a solar flare. It could easily obliterate space up-to 10 km. (It was used by Hajime to destroy 9 lower levels of Hell.)
- Portable Hyperion - A portable version of Hyperion that can be held in a hand. While its effective number of shots and overall range is lower, the actual power of the laser remain the same as a normal Hyperion. It can instantly overwhelm absolute zero temperatures.

- Delischanors (デリスァノース, Derisuanōsu?) - Spirit magic neutralization artifacts. If the attack could pass through everything except the target using spirit magic, then he only needed to enchant Schlag using "Soul Reproduction" to create a pseudo soul in it. Originally this was a 'decoy' artifact that was produced from the assumption that the "Divine Edict" which forced a command on the selected soul on a subconscious level couldn't be defended using Miledi Reisen's artifact, but it was also sufficient to misalign the target of the divine sword, in other words it is something that bestowed a duplicate soul. It obstructed the soul interference from the opponent. By using it in conjunction with a living golem, a pseudo-clone could be created.
- Laobenschiram (ロブ・レーゲンシルム, Robu Rēgenshirumu?) - A target dispersal, three-stage assault lance that rotates at high speed with its surface engraved by Sealstone and particular unevenness, that was to say it was a drill. The target that was touched would be pulverized and dispersed as though being dug out. It was created with creation magic and enchanted with the other types of ancient magic, making it the strongest offensive and defensive artifact in Hajime's possession. It have restoration magic that repaired it instantly, spatial magic that protected the wielder, gravity magic that let it charge forward at breakneck speeds, spirit and metamorphosis magic to make it a living golem, and evolution magic to analyze an enemy attack and immediately incorporate that same attack into it.
- Gravity Meteor (メテオインパクト, Meteoinpakuto?) - A large meteorite with approximated size of 900 meters to 1,400 meters. Created bt using different minerals or ores, Hajime could drop it from inside the stratosphere, but even so, the energy from several tons of metal lump free falling had the destructive force that an average explosive couldn't match. It is even possible to drop the mass from space, but if his allies are near they might get caught up in the explosion as well, so Hajime drops it from the stratosphere.
- Mechanic Shield/Large Shield (, Ōdate?) - A 2 m tall coffin-shaped shield. It was made from a mixture of Taur Stone and Shtar Ore, and layered with an outer coating of Azantium. It can be attached to Hajime's Prosthetic Arm and it has a retractable stake that could bury into the ground so that the user would be unmovable when attacked.
- Aideon ( アイディオン, Kahen-shiki Ōdate Aidion?) - An upgraded version of his previous shield. It contained metallic plates within it, the could be rearranged into any shape to defend against attacks from any and all directions. It was comprised of on ore the was enchanted with restoration magic, otherwise known as "Regenstone," as well as Azantium (much like most of Hajime's weapons) and Sealstone, to which Hajime had christened this alloy "Repellite." And for extra protection, it had been further enchanted with "Diamond Skin." As a result, it was not only extremely sturdy, but it also deflected magic and mana, and even if something did break through one layer of it, it could regenerate fast enough to never be destroyed. It could even repel an apostle's disintegration attack.

Through the use of gravity magic, a gravity field is generated in the inner core to prevent energy leakage, and spatial magic is enchanted on the outer shell to allow only positive energy to be extracted. The infinitely flowing energy that came out of the Orb could not be utilized until Hajime discovered and gained access to the "Element Arrangement Equal Conversion System" that could convert Star Energy into any known form of energy in the Factory World. By using the Orb of Lutria to connect with the Sacred Tree in the Factory World, and using Grasp Gloria along with the hijacked energy conversion system, Hajime was able to completely restore the energy of a planet and gain access to a boundless supply of mana.

- Steiff ( シュタイフ, Maryoku Kudō Niwa Shutaifu "Stiff"?) - An American Chopper-Styled motorcycle with a black frame made of Azantium. As it runs on mana, it is quieter than even an electric car. Speed is adjusted based on the amount of mana supplied to the engine, so it's much easier to learn and handle than conventional motorcycles that requires shifting gears. A special machine is attached to the bottom of Steiff which smooths out the ground before the wheels hit it, thus allowing for a smooth ride. The only draw-back it has is that it needs direct "mana Manipulation" to run, so only a limited people can use it. Hajime later gives it to Shea Haulia after returning to Earth.
- Brise ( ブリーゼ, Maryoku Kudō Yonrin Burīze?) - The manage version resembles a HMMWV painted in Matte Black, while the anime version resembles a Hummer H1 Alpha pickup truck and is instead painted in matte white. It's an armored vehicle with a thick Azantium armor plating and is heavily weaponized, such as side mounted missile launchers and a retractable autocannon turret. It has off-road suspensions, and the same ground leveling mechanic as "Steiff", which gives it smooth ride on any kind of terrain. Similar to "Steiff", it also runs on mana, and all the mechanics within are controlled through the manipulation of mana. The anime version however seems to run on a modified compact internal combustion engine. The seat inside are two rows of bench seats, with a capacity of around six people, and has a sunroof on the top. It contains two rear thrusters that are so powerful that they are only meant to be activated during an emergency. It is even equipped with three parachutes (one each on the front, back, and roof) in case of situations where it is free falling in midair. It is also equipped with an air-conditioning system and a mini-fridge. Like Steiff, it initially had the draw-back of needing direct "Mana Manipulation" to run, so only a limited number of people can use it, but Hajime then inscribed magical circles on in in order to allow more people to drive it. It is later outfitted with Hajime's Silver Slime to be disguised as a Jeep Wrangler from Earth.
- Brise II (ブリーゼ II, Burīze II?) - A medium-size bus that could transport a maximum of 20 people. The design was made to look similar to an armored car. - Fernir (フェルニル, Feruniru, "Further"?) - An airship crafted primarily out of gravity rock and Spirit Stone. It was about 120 meters in length and possessed a multitude of feature . From above, it vaguely resembled a manta ray. The ship's bridge sat near the front of the craft, while the center served as a massive living room of sorts. There was also a residential quarter, and each of the rooms came furnished with its own kitchen and bathroom. It is also equipped with a number of external camera-type crystals called Solid Crystal Displays that was linked to the bridge where one could see everything going on the outside from there. They were crafted it out of Sightstone, ore enchanted with Farsight, and Transferstone ore enchanted with magic that let it display things seen by other objects linked to it.
- Skyboard (スカイボード, Sukaibōdo?) - A surfboard that lets the user surf through the sky. It wrapped the user in a spatial magic barrier to cut down air resistance and used gravity magic to emulate flight. Its average cruising speed was around 200km/h, though those with larger mana pools could accelerate them to 300km/h. However, it took a lot of mana to operate.
- Magic-powered Submarine (, Sensui-tei?) - A submarine created to explore the Sunken Ruins of Melusine. Its appearance varies between versions. The manga version resembles a massive mechanical shark, while the anime version resembles a blend of a military submarine and a twin-broom aircraft. It was used in Gruen Great Volcano as an escape vehicle and it's durable enough to operate in magma. It can also fire customized torpedoes from dorsal and ventral mounted launchers. It is later imbued with gravity magic to give it the option to function like a hovercraft while it is above the water.

The ship's structure has three levels, with the deck having a width of 20 meters and two layers structure from the bow to the stern. There are many cannons protruding all around the ship's hull. Furthermore, the bow’s cannon is decorated to look like a dragon’s head with its jaw wide open. The core of the ship is the steering room. It contains a wooden steering wheel, leather sofa, and other furniture there that looks aged, despite being brand new. There is also a storage space and communication device, workbench and equipment to create various tools. Even though the inside of the galleon part below is made of metal, there are wooden boards laid out inside to give it an historical vibe. Furthermore, the boards ae deliberately stained to give the ship the appearance of being very old. Even so, the ship contains many modernized tools and facilities. It even contains a golem for maintaining and cleaning the ship's interior. The limbs of the metallic dragon that carry the ship act as stars towards the inside of it. Its head serves as an observation deck that contains magic mirrors that make the outside clearly visible. It is also possible to move the long neck to some degree in order to shift the view, or bring it closer to the ship. This ship is able to create a gate for instant travel. Kouki originally wanted to name the ship "Endeavour," after the ship commanded by James Cook, but settled for Black Dragon after Myu had previously named it that.
- Triana v.2 (トリアイナ(v.2), Toriaina (v.2)?) (Given to Lehman) - - A small submarine that can be used for underwater, as well as flight. The cockpit is full of water and is controlled by Lehman's "Telepathy". Its propulsion system is based on Hajime's design for a perpetual energy system that he devised after his encounter with the Sky Dragon World. Like most of Hajime's vehicles, it's outfitted with many weapons.

- Griffon (グリフォン, Gurifon?) - Griffon-type Grim Reapers with the body of a lion, wings and head of eagle. These are designed for mid-ranged and close-ranged combat and achieving great speeds in mid-air. They are fully equipped with weapons like two gatling guns in the back, an electromagnetically accelerated anti material rifle in the jaw and pencil missile launcher cartridges under the wings. They can fly with gravity magic.
- Yatagarasu (八咫烏?) - Crow-type Grim Reapers shaped like a three-legged crow, being modeled off the legendary Yatagarasu. They are specialized in speed and flight. They fly through jet propulsion and the use of gravity magic to enhance their speed. Inside their beaks they have railguns and can lauch cluster bombs from their Treasure Trove stored in their stomachs, and also have shotguns hidden in their mounths. Their claws, beak and wings itself are enchanted with spatial magic.

It has three pairs of wings, two swords that emit flames that is amplified using evolution magic and then compressed with gravity magic, as well as both of them being able to combine together to form a large spear, remote bit weapons equipped with a gate to repel enemy attacks and many other weapons. Whenever it's nearing defeat, it will activate the skill "Limit Break" and have its stats boosted by three times, while reducing its size and emit crimson red particles for visual effects. Hajime was forced to destroy it at the behest of his wives Kaori, Shizuku and Tio after they were defeated by it in combat in an attempt to clear Miledi's Labyrinth and claim its gravity magic. Hajime, however, secretly repaired and upgraded it. It was now equipped with various forms of interchangeable armor that could be deployed from an orbiting satellite. Its gigantic robot mode, for example, was labeled Mark VII, while its original body was Mark V, and its slim body-type was Mark VI. Its forms of armor went all the way to Mark XX. It can either operate remotely, or by a special controller.
Golems Created for Other People[]
- Butterfly Golems (Given to Suzu Taniguchi) - Thousands of black butterfly-shaped biological golems. The scales on their wings are equipped with a toxic spray that can cause paralysis. They were created with a combination of creation and metamorphosis magic by incorporating monster parts in the bodies outfitted with a wide array of weapons, and are capable of transforming. It is eventually discovered that they are possessed by the Seven Princes of Hell, and have sworn absolute loyalty to her.
Concept Magic Artifacts[]
- Compass of Eternal Paths (の, Shirube Etsu no Rashinban?) - It has the power to locate anything its user wishes to find. It uses spirit magic to surmise what the user was wishing for, then by using spatial magic, it ignores the spatial gap and distance and searches for the target, it seems that the compass uses evolution magic to supplement the information of the target. Hajaime first acquired it in the Haltina Labyrinth, but it was destroyed during his fight with Ehit, so he created another one afterwards.
- Crystal Key (クリスタルキー, Kurisutarukī?) - A concept magic artifact, made of the Divinity Stone and other rare materials, that looked antique with its crystal form that had a complicated and delicate pattern and twelve exact sides―the ‘Crystal Key’. It is like the Gate Key, but it can open a door to any desired place, even if it is in another world. It is later imbued with gravity magic so that it can be used remotely while in mid-air.
- Deny All Existences (, Subete no Sonzai o Hitei Suru?) - Concept magic that, through evolution magic, overwrites other's information from "Exist" to "Non-Exist" and fills it into thin thread-like chains created with transmutation. Everything that is touched by the chain will be erased and feel a great agony and pain even if the target should not feel any pain. Hajime was later able to turn the remains of the chains into a bullet that he used to slay Ehit.
- Godslayer Dagger (の, Shinkoshi no Tanken?) (Obtained from Miledi Reisen) - Its blade length reaching about 20 centimeters. It was a simple two bladed sword without a handle guard, it resembled the type of short sword that was called a dirk. It was 'god killing' concept artifact. It seemed the Liberators lost their temper because they couldn't really create the trump card, so all of them became drunk in desperation. In the end when they were all drunk, they were all swearing towards Ehit and the concept magic got created. Only the feeling of "Die Ehit, you shitty bastard" makes up the concept, so it won't affect anything else other than Ehit. Hajime reformed the dagger into a bullet.
- Oath Bloodedge (, Burūto Fea Ryezuvuie?) - A small blade that was imbued with the concept magic "Don't touch my woman," which had the ability to keep anyone from interfering with Yue's soul, as well as severe any external influence that was already there. However, it could only work if it was in direct contact with Yue's soul. The blade itself was hollow and filled with Hajime's blood in order to strengthen Yue's soul with her skill "Blood Oath."
- Oath Bullet (, Purūto Fea Buretto?) - A bullet with the concept magic "I'm No Good Without You," which was made from the souls of Yue and Hajime constantly resonating and seeking each other. It strengthened Yue's soul exponentially while expunging the foreign agent attached to her soul, causing the origin of the foreign substance to experience horrific agony akin to having every single nerve broiled simultaneously. With this, Yue was able to free herself from Ehit's possession.
- That One Should Pay for the Sins They've Wrought (, Yoku Moyatte Kureta na, Kono Kuso Yarō?) - A bullet created by both Hajime and Yue. The concept magic of this bullet forced the target to suffer every wound and sensation of pain they had ever inflicted on someone else. It was the most powerful concept magic ever created. With this, Hajime was finally able to kill Ehit once and for all.
Enhanced Weapons & Equipment[]
Though Hajime might not be a creator of those weapons and equipment, he enhanced other weapons and equipment with new abilities.
- Holy Sword Uralt (ウーア・アルト, Seiken Ūa Aruto?) (Kouki Amanogawa's main weapon) - A legendary divine artifact which had been used by various heroes in the past. It is a unique artifact that possesses various abilities. The sword is blessed by the element of light and has the ability to weaken the enemies struck by its light while increasing the physical strength of the wielder. The sword can summoned to the user's hand and for some unknown reason, it also possess the ability to automatically return to its owner without their consent, when they move away from it for a certain distance or try to abandon it. It can change its shape into whatever sword the user wishes, for instance changing from its western design to a katana. Unlike his other enhancements which could be considered remodels, due to the sword already having extremely precise and perfectly balanced enhancements, Hajime did not fundamentally change too much of the Holy Sword's original design rather just performing some general maintenance and adding a few external upgrades as making too many adjustments to the core of the sword could cause it to become weaker instead of stronger. In the after story, it was shown to have a will of its own and appears to be somewhat scared of Hajime and his "mad synergist" tendencies.
- Divine Armor (な, Shinseina Yoroi?) (Kouki Amangawa's main armor) - The strongest armor artifact in the Heiligh Kingdom. It is a set of nigh-impregnable western-style holy armor that increases the defensive capabilities of its wearer. It is later enhanced by Hajime after acquiring evolution magic so that it can absorb mana from its surroundings and lessen Kouki's mana consumption, as well as increasing the duration of his "Limit Break". It is also enhanced with the ability to form a veil of light to be used as a barrier.
- Twin Gauntlets (Ryutarou Sakagami's main weapon) - Ryutarou's primary weapons. Originally from the Heiligh Kingdom, they had the power to produce shockwaves when used for combat. They were later enhanced by Hajime after clearing the Haltina Labyrinth in the Sea of Trees. They could oscillate at a very high frequency, thus multiplying their destructive power. They were also enchanted with ancient magic to perform a variety of attacks. The following are the abilities enchanted in the gauntlets by Hajime.
- Death Fist - It uses spatial magic to bypasses an enemy’s defenses and destroys their internal organs.
- Hammerfist - It uses gravity magic to amplify the gauntlet's punches weight and attack power tenfold.
- Enhanced Mana Shockwaves - It launches shockwaves of mana from the gauntlets to attack enemies from a distance.
- Suzu's Bracelets (Suzu Taniguchi's previous main weapons, failure) - A pair of bracelets that helped strengthen her barrier magic. They were destroyed after Hajime tried to enhance them with new abilities, which ended in failure.
- Throwing Knives (Yuka Sonobe's main weapons) - A set of 12 knives. They could be wrapped in a wreath of flames, and be called back as long as one is still held by the thrower. They were later enhanced by Hajime for the battle against Ehit. They were increased to a hundred of them and enchanted new abilities, which included emitting electricity using "Lightning Field," emit mana shockwaves, and were even enchanted with several ancient magics. Furthermore, the holsters on Yuka's arms were enchanted with spatial magic, in order to store her extra knives.
Weakness[]
Weaknesses: Pre-Evolution to use Transmute, he had to kneel to affect anything within a certain distance from where he was activating his ability. Can't negate super- wide range magic. Metzelei can only be used continuously for about 5 minutes, after which it overheats. Hyperion breaks after a single use as it was a prototype weapon, that is no longer the case by the war with Ehito.
