Ehit, also known by his former human worshipers as the False God and his true name, Ehitruje, is the main antagonist of the Japanese web-turned-light novel series Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest and the overarching antagonist of its prequel spin-off Arifureta: Zero. He appears in Seasons 1 and 2 as the unseen main antagonist. He will make an appearance in Season 3.
Overview[]
He is the archenemy of the Liberators and later the archnemesis of both one of his former summon fake heroes who killed the false god himself, Hajime Nagumo and the former vampire queen who is one of Hajime's lovers, Yue.
hit was a pseudo-god, once worshiped by Tortus's people. In reality, he was actually an extremely psychotic alien from a destroyed world known as the Calamity World that arrived on Tortus and manipulate humanity as playthings that led humans to their deaths like some sort of a game. He summoned the so-called "chosen heroes" to fight demons just to using them as pawns at his disposal just so the so-called "heroes" die in a miserable death. However, when Hajime discovered the truth of the false god being psychotic, Ehit tried everything he could to kill Hajime and his companions.
But his so-called "games" were ruined when humanity turned against him seeing just how cruel, crazy and filthy he truly is, leaving Tortus as a godless world by Nagumo with the help of both Aiko Hatayama and Princess Liliana S. B. Heiligh. Following the truth, Ehit decided to wipe out humanity and all life at Tortus, in his attempt to stay alive as well attempt to invade Hajime's home world in order to rule his world (a delusional plan that is purely evil).
He temporarily controlled over Yue's body and fight against Nagumo. However, the fight was difficult for Ehit when he ended up losing against Hajime due to Yue and her undetermined willpower. Due to him unable to control Yue's body, she eventually freed herself from Ehit's influence, leaving the so-called "god" completely defenseless and weak as Ehit was killed by Hajime and Yue absorbed his powers.
Personality[]
Ehit initially appeared as kind, or at least, considerate enough to help people in need, as seen when along with the fellow survivors who escaped to Tortus, saw how people were terrorized by magical beasts and monsters. Ehit, along with their fellow comrades, helped the people of Tortus to fend off the threats, and also gave them knowledge so that they could develop and prosper.
But this was nothing but a massive facade, Ehit's mentality started to change, especially after the fellow survivors started to give up on their lives and slowly accepted death. All alone, Ehit's mind slowly corroded and started to feel enjoyment by seeing the suffering of the very people he once helped and saved. Ehit developed an immensely cruel, insane and sadistic personality which was filled with malice and contempt, becoming a psychotic Evil God who manipulated both Humans and Demons of Tortus to fight millienias of brutal wars for his own twisted entertainment by posing as two different individual gods which the two races worshiped as Hajime had correctly guessed. As stated by Noint, Ehit derived the greatest joy by seeing people try their best, only to be thwarted and failed in absolute despair when they had reached their goal.
As shown when in past, after the Klarus Dragonman tribe had succeeded in achieving world peace after centuries of painstaking efforts by building a paradise Kingdom where all races lived in harmony as well as creating a global alliance between countries that will help each other in times of need, Ehit manipulated his worshipers both Humans and Demons to betrayed the Dragonman by declaring them as a race of heretical Monster destroying the multi-racial Kingdom the Dragonman had worked so hard to built even driving them into hiding for centuries. When his archenemies the Liberators had been ready to start a revolution to overthrow Ehit after immense efforts, Ehit cleverly manipulated his own worshipers the very people the Liberators wished to protect to turn against them, ultimately forcing to part ways and built the Great Labyrinths to hide themselves in. Ehit also wanted his so-called summoned "heroes" to die to their miserable deaths and to ensure they will never leave Tortus back to their world alive. Ehit also supported Eri and Hiyama in betraying their classmates due to finding their intentions and actions amusing.
Ehit's ego also inflated to an extreme level, which developed into a selfish, narcissistic, delusional and prideful nature. Ehit felt joy in staying one step ahead against the enemies with the designed plans, but doesn't like it when the plans don't go the way as needed. Ehit viewed humanity to be weak and playthings as he is toying with their lives. Due to his selfishness, Ehit doesn't care about anyone but himself when viewing those (including Hiyama, Kouki and even Eri herself) as his pawns. He easily got over of his pawns' failures and showed no concerns or sympathy for their deaths (such as Hiyama, Freid and Eri)
Ehit is also a failure-intolerant who holds no uses for his weak pawns and disposed them of their uses as a sign of disappointment to himself as his pawns brought nothing but shame upon him so miserably such as Hiyama was killed by Hajime and his greatest pawn, Kouki gotten defeated by Hajime so easily in the Frost Caverns. Despite Amanogawa has failed him for the last time, he adapted a use for Kouki by manipulating his new servant, Eri of willing to give Kouki to her as a "prize" for her services by manipulating Nakamura to continue doing his bidding. He doesn't have any sympathies for his now weak and useless pawns such Daisuke Hiyama and Eri Nakamura (despite her brought Yue to him).
Ehit hold a lust for immortality as he once tried to search for Yue and possessed her as a "host body". When he learned Yue is with Hajime, Ehit sends his minions to seize her. After Eri retrieved Yue, Ehit temporarily possessed Yue's body which caused Hajime to his raged consumed state. While using Yue's body, Ehit doesn't get complete control over Yue's body which caused to his death when Yue allowed her undetermined willpower to free herself from his control leaving Ehit completely vulnerable as Hajime killed the false god and destroyed his "chessboard of life" for all eternity.
Ehit is a manipulative liar who deceived humans that beastmen were just an "inferior" species. His beliefs of protecting humanity against Garland was just a setup that would lend his pawns to their deaths. While the truth has been revealed, Ehit doesn't have anyone else to manipulate after humanity turned against him for his lies and deceptions. He manipulated the demons of Garland and used them as pawns as he did to his former human worshipers, due to their extremely low Emotional Quotience (EQ) which Freid believed it is a trial to prove the demons are destined to follow Ehit, which is nothing more than a delusional belief.
However, Ehit has revealed himself to be a coward as he hold a fear of death or his true nature revealed which is the legacy of the Liberators that had caused him to develop a nature which needs to do anything necessary to stay alive. He fears Hajime worse than the Liberators due to his unconcern for Tortus and its people when he simply unleashed a massacre and genocide towards both of Ehit's human and demon worshipers as he wanted to eliminate him and his companions at all costs by sending Noint to assassinate Hajime. He is shown in sheer terror when Hajime killed Noint and used her body to revive Kaori as an insult to the so-called "god". When his true nature has been revealed, he shows fear when his human worshipers have turned against him as well losing the balance to his little "chessboard of life and death" for immortality. While Tortus is no longer worships him due to his true filthy nature, he is a very paranoid misanthrope who developed a complete hatred towards humanity and attempted to do whatever means to stay alive by attempting to unleash an omnicide by wiping out not only the human race, but beastmen race as well to ensure his reign as a "god" continues to proceed by sending out 500 Apostles as well for Ehit to invade Hajime's home world and enslave it (which is pure evil).
Ehit has proven to be extremely dimwitted. According to Hajime, Ehit is even stupider than Nagumo thought, when he actually believed what his opponents says as Hajime declared that Ehit has achieved nothing.
Ironically, it was Ehit's tremendous arrogance and deluded lust for immortality had ultimately became his downfall when Yue freed herself from his influence, he left himself to be defenseless and has been slayed by Hajime and his "chessboard of life and death" is destroyed for all eternity.
Due to his delusions of being a so-called "God", Ehit lacked remorse for his actions and absolutely hold no redeems qualities making him the most vilest and filthy villain.

Ehit joins Xehanort's team, He is Isogai's mortal enemy because Isogai is not as stupid as Amanogawa even though he is class president then Hero says that Isogai who saw Ehit, Yanagisawa, Alva, Arios, Junko, Nurarihyon, Tantanbo, Cult of Diablos, and other villains made Isogai very hear them when him, and villains don't know about Isogai, until Isogai see he laughed innocent until laugh Aguri death that making Isogai angry vengeful emotionless to him, and villains as parasite must vanished from heart, and brain, this happened right before Junko Enoshima killed by Isogai then before Tantanbo slaughtered along with other evil yokai by Isogai, Class 3-E, and other Heroes but Ehit surprised that Isogai is another Kouki Amanogawa because he surprised that Isogai killed Enoshima, and Tantanbo terrible in Isogai's hands, especially as villain said that Isogai just like Kouki but Isogai had more personality to Nagumo personality as killer, even though Isogai same just like Kouki but Isogai actually just like Nagumo, Baby Bonnie Hood, Korosensei, Misumi, Rimuru, Yogiri, and other heroes even turned out Class 3-E to have contracted with Hanyuu, Eua, Marie Korbel, Master of Hell, Death (Puss in Boots), and heroes after hearing sad story from Class 3-E about Yanagisawa's cruel actions of killing Aguri then main building residents joined Xehanort's team so that souls of Class 3-E protected by Master of Hell, Eua, Hanyuu, Marie Korbel, and heroes, Marie Korbel has grudge against Ehit because it turns out he is innocent slaughterer then wants to get skull heart, so Marie not forgive him, Ehit chased by Isogai because Isogai sees him like Yanagisawa even kill him if he meets, Nagumo, and others understand him, even Isogai just like Amanogawa but Nagumo sees Isogai as more worthy as leader and class president then seeing residents main building betraying world, humans, Isogai, and Class 3-E makes Nagumo, and Returnees understand Moreover, Kouki felt that Isogai more worthy than himself, especially Kouki felt sorry for Isogai after Isogai gave his enthusiastic support to Kouki, making Kouki know that Isogai is good class president even Ryutarou, and Shizuku felt that Isogai very lucky even became great class president
