Cocolia Rand, also known as the Supreme Guardian, is a major antagonist in Honkai: Star Rail . She is the main antagonist of the Jarilo-VI storyline and an ally of the Stellaron in the planet. Originally presenting herself as a benevolent leader, she betrayed the Trailblazer's group to stop them investigating the Stellaron. She's an Expy of Cocolia from Houkai Gakuen 2 and Honkai Impact 3rd. And in all of these three games, she is Bronya's adoptive mother.
Biography[]
Cocolia is the descendant of the 1st Supreme Guardian of Belobog, Alisa Rand. As a university student, she attended Belobog Military Academy, where she befriended Serval. After ascending to being the Supreme Guardian, she was slowly influenced by the Stellaron on Jarilo-VI, until eventually accepting their offer for her adopted daughter, Bronya's sake.
Cocolia would later deem the Underworld as sealed in her delusions to "save" the planet, and rejected Serval's research and deemed it illegal.
Events of Honkai: Star Rail[]
Cocolia is introduced perusing her documents, when the Trailblazer and the Astral Express members wanted an audience with her. After greeting them in a cordial manner, Cocolia heard their story and granted them access to the Grand Hotel in order to prepare for the Stellaron expedition, while she was ordered by the Stellaron to stop them at all costs. Cocolia then decided to frame them and have them imprisoned, which they managed to escape from due to Sampo's interference.
Against Sora's Team[]
Cocolia joined Xehanort's team to make all of Sora's team fugitives which she started with Velvet but the plan backfired after she became a fugitive by Gepard because Gepard found out she was working with Abbey, and other criminals to get Stellaron, and other forbidden artifacts especially she was working with. with Yanagisawa, Pottimas, Shou Tucker, Ehit, and other criminals, especially as a woman who manipulated the Supreme Guardian, making all of Sora's team as Caelus' colleagues become criminals in their city, but fortunately, only Gepard was able to survive because Gepard had learned from his mistakes, then Gepard found out about Abbey, even though caught but managed to be rescued, especially Gepard, Pela, Bronya, and Serval were unable to return to their homes due to Cocolia's actions, especially since Cocolia was upset because Gepard made her a female criminal wanted by the marines until Gepard was labeled a traitor for disrupting her plans, so Class 3-E, Hajime Nagumo, and all the other heroes became vengeful against him because of his actions.
Bronya who wanted to be influenced by her but was stopped by Seele by calling her a witch especially she was surprised about Gepard surviving but Gepard told Cocolia that why Cocolia betrayed Serval making her say that Serval was too meddling then excused her by saying that Serval's research would disturb her from achieving His goal was with Stellaron so that Serval's research was considered illegal with his lies then Cocolia said that she was working contract with Abbey and the evil organization from Xehanort's team who let them act with her permission to influence Dunn, and the Silvermane Guard members again but she was annoyed that Gepard was no longer manipulated anymore by her, then she was even surprised from villains that Gepard help heroes to stop her soldier, but Seele said that Gepard had been saved from her first so that he would not obey her orders again as a cruel woman.
Gepard was surprised that the reason for Caelus, and his group was because Caelus' group would interfere with his goal but Gepard said that Cocolia's goal was wrong especially since Gepard found out after joining Sora's team that his goal was to bring destruction especially as Eleanor said that his goal was like Artorius' then Naofumi said that it was more like Malty when making false accusations against Caelus, March 7th, and Dan Heng as representative members of the astral express made Kawasumi, Mirellia, Raphtalia, Motoyasu, Melty, Filo, and Ren Amaki angry but she didn't care, however she even called Mirellia a bad mother for rejecting Malty about how useful stellaron is especially but Mirellia said that Mirellia not like her because Mirellia know about Stellaron is dangerous even know her from Caelus then her said that Mirellia helped Naofumi to destroy Malty's noble goals, but was denied by Naofumi because Mirellia was cruel because Malty had made Motoyasu, Kawasumi, and Amaki believe her false accusations to break each other, especially Malty stole things from Naofumi, Motoyasu, Amaki, and Kawasumi, made Kawasumi and Amaki confirm Naofumi's words
Sugino said that Gakuho Asano's much worse actions made Class 3-E, and Gakushu agreed especially Gaku said that even though Bronya was his adopted daughter but Gaku said that he hated his actions like Sousuke Yaotome even though Sousuke was not interested in stellaron but Gaku hated his actions of manipulating Bronya so Bronya to stop him made Bronya then he used a robot then the arrival of monsters from the Xehanort alliance helped him make Lloyd Bannings, Kousuke Endou, and several heroes kill some of his monsters until his robot was hit by an attack from Himeko but Velvet, Eleanor, Koby, Eizen, Lukius, Sorey, Mikleo, Zaveid, Rokurou Rangetsu, Laphicet and several heroes about their changing evolution even Velvet said that her changes were like Teresa making Oscar Dragonia agree then Teresa doesn't mind about the past especially Teresa still remembers only Teresa hates her more who is similar to her adoptive mother as Oscar's biological mother when Caelus almost died but it awakened his power of preversation but in the end he was defeated when Bronya approached him but was blocked by Seele because it was dangerous to save her, so Cocolia was controlled by Stellaron energy so Cocolia died
even though Gepard was shocked by Cocolia's death but Gepard said that she died selfishly as a result of her actions then her betray to Serval, making Yogiri, Riku Nanase, Taisei Onari, Minato Narumiya, Carl Clover, and all the heroes agree about her death which was kept secret by all the heroes from the Belobog population, and everyone who didn't guilty even though it will be known, but Bronya tells Koby and Tashigi that to report to Smoker, Hina, and several Marine leaders by providing recorded information about Cocolia as a fugitive from the Marines, and the justice organization that had been executed because she died when she want to be captured because Bronya knew that Ritsu and several heroes had recorded their match against Cocolia so that the heroes got a lot of money about Cocolia's death.
Cocolia was mentioned by several other heroes, Gepard, Serval, and Bronya, as traitors to the country, although it was kept secret, but all of Sora's team received information about Cocolia's tragic death due to her actions, but Nagisa Shiota said that this was the result of believing it was not true, even he was more Kouki Amanogawa, but much more tragic. made the Returnees including Nagumo agree, especially Gakushu and Gaku Yaotome said that his actions were much more terrible than Sousuke Yaotome, and Gakuho Asano and Sanageyama with the heroes in Jarilo saw reminding Cocolia of Ragyo making Nonon, Satsuki Kiryuuin, and several heroes agree, especially Carl Clover will not forgive in his heart even though she is dead because during his lifetime Carl saw him working together with Relius for helping Relius' goal to make Carl so that all the heroes understand, especially Mimori hating her who reminded him of his biological mother.
