Baius D. Hoelscher

Baius D. Hoelscher is a minor antagonist in the Japanese light novel Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest. He was the crown prince of the Hoelscher Empire and the ex-fiance of Liliana S. B. Heiligh.

He is a major antagonist in Light Novel 7 and will appear in Season 3.

Background[]

Baius was born to one of his father's concubines, but gained the right of succession due to being stronger than the rest of his siblings. At around age 16, Baius conceived his son Raymond with an unknown woman. At some point, Baius was arranged to marry Princess Liliana S. B. Heiligh of the Heiligh Kingdom, despite already having several mistresses.

Chronology[]

Due to him being completely blinded by Ehit's corrupted influence, Baius is a selfish, sadistic and tyrannical crown prince when he believed he can get away and doing whatever he wants. Like the Holy Church and Heiligh Kingdom (originally due to Ehit's deceits), Baius is a follower of Ehit and believed Demi-Humans are meant to be slaves when he enslaved the Haulia Tribe.

Like the late Daisuke Hiyama, he is a cruel pervert and a sadistic rapist when he believed women are nothing more than sexual toys as it demonstrated when it shows that Baius sexually assaulted and raped them (either human or demi-human alikes). He also obsessed Princess Liliana S. B. Heiligh and he intend to make her as his wife just so he sexual harass and rape her. He is not above to show his cruelty towards Liliana. Even in the moment in his death, Baius uselessly tries to rape Liliana.

Much like Hiyama and Eri Nakamura, he is a coward when he is afraid of death such as when he was killed by the Haulia Tribe for their revenge upon him. He used his father's knights to provide protection.

Powers and Abilities[]

Authority (formerly): As a former crown prince of the Hoelscher Empire, Baius has the authority over his subjects and his father's knights. He lost his authority in the moment of his death.

Weaknesses[]

Arrogance: Like Daisuke Hiyama and Kouki Amanogawa, Baius is extremely arrogant when he believed he can do whatever he wants due to him as a crown prince.
Delusional: Like Hiyama and Kouki, Baius is extremely delusional he believed that Demi-Humans are meant to be slaves and women are meant to be sexual toys this was because he completely worships Ehit blindly.
Cowardice: Like Daisuke Hiyama and Eri Nakamura, Baius is also a coward when he is afraid of death. He used his father's knights to provide his protection which makes him as a bigger coward.

Baius joined Xehanort's team, along with Trek, and his troops, especially Nagi Rokuya, hated him because his character could be much worse than his older brother, namely Seto Von Ranvalt Northmeir and Nagumo agreed to IDOLiSH7, Class 3-E, Maehara, Gaku Yaotome, Tenn Kujo, Ensemble Square, Gepard, Tartaglia, and several disguised as invited guests even helped the Haulia Tribe disguise themselves as ninjas then Nagi Rokuya, Tenn Kujo, Mitsuki Izumi, Iori Izumi, Caelus, Yanqing, Tamaki Yotsuba, Ryunosuke Tsunashi, and IDOLiSH7 saw Lilianna being raped by him and Nagi beat him. made Mitsuki and several other heroes including IDOLiSH7 surprised, even Gaku and Ryunosuke Tsunashi made him surprised why some of them weren't with Nagumo, and several other heroes made Tenn say that some of them were helping the Haulia tribe and watching Baius then Nagi Rokuya found evidence that Seto von Ranvalt Northmeir, and Northmeir becomes the target of the evil god Tortus to be targeted for extermination through Baius who wants to destroy because he wants to kill Seto making Nagi Rokuya who comes with the hero, and Class 3-E chases him as the mastermind and even hears Hoelscher making Nagi reveal his sadism as a prince toward to Baius, Trek and his soldier as Nagi enemies.

then Nagumo asked IDOLiSH7, Nagi Rokuya, Class 3-E, Caelus, Dan Heng, Aether, Mika Schmidt, and several other heroes to help the Haulia tribe even check on Lilianna's condition because Nagumo got proof from Nagi Rokuya that his hometown as his home was Northmeir became targets of criminals, he, and Ehit when Nagi found evidence from several criminals until Nagi killed several criminal soldiers then Nagi reported to Seto making Seto thank Nagi even though Seto is still jealous of Nagi then Riku Nanase is horrified by him compared to seeing Tenn angry making Gaku, and Tsunashi confirms especially Ryunosuke Tsunashi sees him as an insolent barbaric older brother but he is the one who doesn't want to apologize to Lilianna because he didn't do anything wrong made most of the heroes angry including Nagi until IDOLiSH7, and most of the heroes including Nagi let him killed by Hajime Nagumo then he tried to ask for mercy by trying to attack them making Nagi, and Tighnari help Nagumo kill him so he wouldn't be forgotten as the first disgusting Hoelscher prince even though he was dead
