Allen Westfelt is the titular main protagonist of the Japanese light novel series The Banished Former Hero Lives as He Pleases.
Biography[]
Long ago, a hero who perished was revived by the Goddess.
Allen Westfelt is the eldest son of the Westfelt Family who was mistreated by his father Craig Westfelt (a tyrannical duke) and his brother, Brett Westfelt (a delusional maniac) ever since his mother Mariel died. He was disowned and kicked out by his father, and his younger brother when they believed he was a so-called "failure" but unbeknowst to them, Allen has incredible powers of the Hero.
After being kicked out, Allen wanders around until he spotted a carriage attacked by the monsters only for him to easily destroyed them all as well saving Princess Liese Adoastella (his fiancee) and her knight, Beatice. He travels with them as well explained his family kicked him out, much of their disbeliefs. He meets the current Hero Akira Kazaragi who travels with her to kill the dragon. It was revealed the monsters were all summoned by his estranged father and brother in a failed attempted to kill the first princess and Allen's fiancee, Liese. They later went to the Blacksmith store to meet the Elf Blacksmith named Noelle who decided to craft him a divine sword. Allen went to the Adventurers' Guild to register. He later meets a strangle old man with a girl named Mylene. He and Noelle discovered a Fenrir who was summoned by the old man (who revealed to be a subordinate of Allen's father, Craig). However, Allen easily killed the Fenrir and later the man who tries to escape. Mylene (revealed to be a dearest friend of Noelle) was captured and later works at a blacksmith store with Noelle.
They went to a town that revealed to be a trap by the Westfelt family, the Holy Church and also Alfred (Liese's uncle who is revealed to be an ally of the Westfelt Family) who are attempting to kill Liese. Allen easily killed Alfred (who became an undead puppet of the Westfelt Family). Allen easily defeated his brother, Brett with just one punch at his face, and later killed his father, Craig with only one strike to his chest.
After he killed his father Craig and easily defeated his brother Brett, Allen was offered to become the next duke of the Westfelt family, but he respectifully declined.

Allen is a tall young man with a blue spiked hair and blue eyes. He wore a black shirt with a light blue jumpsuit with black boots.
Personality[]
He is a kindhearted loyal and generous person. He is willing to sacrifice his life for his friends.

- Supernatural Strength: Allen possessed immense strength when he easily killed a dragon and later a fenrir. He easily defeated his younger brother, Brett with a punch. He easily killed his father, Craig with one strike.
- Supernatural Speed: Allen possessed supernatural speed when he went to the carriage and later the arena. He can easily caught up to his enemies who are trying to flee from him.
- Supernatural Magic: Allen possessed supernatural magic. He has the divine eye to check his enemies' weaknesses. He can restore anything including wounds or damages. He can use fire element
- Swordsmanship: Allen has a tremendous talents of swordsmanship when he easily defeat Alfred (Liese's uncle) and later his father, Craig.
Story of Joining Sora's Team[]
Allen joins Sora's team after learning that his father and younger brother have joined Xehanort's team, but Allen is surprised that Xingqiu, Masato Sendo, and several heroes as his younger brother like Brett but better than Brett because they understand then take pity on Allen until Masato hug Allen due to Allen very better than Takahisa in front Brett, and Craig as Allen family, then Allen even gets attention from Zenkichi Hasegawa, and several other heroes as a father who is similar to Craig even though there are some who are similar to his family about losing a loved one in the family making Allen feel happy that in Sora's team Allen get treat like his own son by Zenkichi, and other, but Allen sees Zenkichi that he is better than his father especially Takebayashi apparently willing to help fight Brett, and Craig because Takebayashi protects Allen like family makes Brett, and Craig upset then Takebayashi's brother, and Takebayashi's parents are upset if Takebayashi protects Allen especially Craig, Kotaro Takebayashi's family is upset if Allen has been protected by Allen's right to life by the Marines, and all justice organizations because of Brett, and Craig is the perpetrator who tried to kill Allen as his family makes Riku Nanase hate Brett because Allen is considered useless as a hero and is even considered a failure makes Riku protect Allen makes Tenn Kujo agree because Tenn feels the relationship between Brett and Allen is heavier than Riku and him since the death of Allen's mother as Brett's mother and Craig's wife
especially Allen was surprised that he was appointed as a hero in a city supported by Sora's team, one of which was in Melromarc, even though he refused, Allen was surprised that this was his effort and even deserved it for himself, which made him accept it but as long as he wasn't called Mr. Hero or Hero because just calling Allen's name made him happy, especially he didn't like being glorified by anyone, making some heroes agree, making Brett and Craig hate Sora's team for defending him as a failure, but some members of Sora's team said that they were the ones who failed, not Allen, making Allen surprised, including Allen's friend, making Isogai say that even though Allen was a product of failure from a family, at least he had the desire to be him because his heart was already a hero even though he was no longer a hero making Brett and Craig even more annoyed because of Sora's team so Brett and Craig hate Sora's team as enemies because they are Allen's partners permanently forever make Lise, and some of his friend that Sora's team in Allen side.
