Aisaki Masato (愛崎 正人 Aisaki Masato?) is a minor character from HUGtto! Pretty Cure. He is Emiru's older brother and a student at L'Avenir Academy.

Appearance[]
Masato is a teen with auburn hair and dark brown eyes. He wears dark blue-rimmed glasses, a light blue sweater with lighter blue diamonds on it, a white dress shirt, light gray dress pants and black dress shoes. His sleeves are rolled up to his elbows.
Personality[]
Masato is seen as someone controlling, bossy and selfish at first, which causes big tension between Emiru's friends and him. After his Oshimaida transformation, he makes an honest effort to accept his sister's choices and even lets her play her guitar at home.
He later has become more accepting of not only Emiru but of Henri as well. He is also shown to be caring and supportive, as he defended Henri's privacy, and encouraging him to do his best by holding his hand when Henri was doubting himself.
Relationships[]
- Aisaki Emiru: Emiru is Masato's younger sister. He often bosses her around and tells her what girls can and cannot do. But after his Oshimaida transformation, he lets her do what she wants to do.
- Wakamiya Henri: Masato and Henri seemingly are in a rivalry with each other and Masato dislikes Henri greatly and doesn't take it too well after Henri calls him out for unwanted restrictions as shown in episode 19. However, he has seemed to grow to enjoy his company as of episode 25. Their friendship is shown to develop even more as of episode 33, as Masato helps and supports Henri through the entirety of the episode, encouraging him that he can do his best.
Etymology[]
Aisaki (愛崎?): Ai (愛?) means "love", "affection", and "favorite" while Saki (崎?) means "small peninsula". This could mean that Aisaki means "small Peninsula of Love" or something of that nature.
Masato (正人?): Masa (正?) means "exact" and/or "precise", to (人?) means person. Thus his name, Masato, means "exact person" or "precise person".
History[]
Masato first appears in episode 15, criticizing his sister Emiru for playing he guitar behind his back, but is speechless when Ruru Amour gets angry at his controlling attitude towards Emiru and he excuses himself.
In episode 19, Masato points out rather rudely to Henri, who pays no attention to his insult, that he shouldn't be wearing a feminine attire as it violates the school rules. After learning that Emiru volunteers to be a model at Yoshimi Rita's latest fashion runway show, he rudely tries to take Emiru away from Ruru, only for Hana to stop him. He then criticizes Henri for dressing like a woman, only for Henri to retort him for having an outdated mindset. Insulted and angered, he becomes an easy target for Gelos who turns him into an Oshimaida. Henri then tells Masato that he can change himself and embraces him. After being saved by the Cures, Masato stay to watch the runway show, and thinks that he had a nightmare that is beautiful in its own way.
In episode 20, Masato tries to apologize to Henri at campus, but Henri has already forgiven him, and both of them start becoming friendlier to each other. He later hands a concert ticket to Emiru, showing that he has become more supportive of her.
In episode 25, Masato joins Henri in attending the summer festival. He and Henri exchange greetings with the girls there before resuming their time at the festival.
In episode 33, Masato arrives at the skating rink, but he fails to cheer up Emiru. He and Ruru later search for both Henri and Emiru when they realize they have gone off on their own. He soon informs Henri that the after-party is ready, unaware that Henri is getting upset by ankle pain and tempted by Criasu.
In episode 41, upon realizing Emiru is distraught, he tries to encourage her with a joke, but to no avail and instead receives an icy response. He later scolds his grandfather Aisaki Baku for trying to dictate his and his sister's futures rather than respecting their choices. After Baku is purified by the Cures, Masato tries to reason with him, but Baku still refuses, so he hopes that his grandfather will learn to be more accepting one day and lets him be.
In episode 42, he and Homare learn the shocking news of Henri getting involved in a terrible traffic accident, so they both rush to the hospital to visit and check on Henri. Although Henri tries to put on a brave face, both Masato and Homare knows he is deeply devastated by his own injuries. He, along with Harry and the Cures, later witness Henri breaking free from Listol's control and becoming Cure Infini for the first time. Masato later catches Henri, who reverts after the battle with the Mou-Oshimaida, and encourages Henri to not give up easily despite starting to weep for Henri himself, before he and the girls return Henri to the hospital.
He joins the Cures and the defected Criasu employees' Christmas party in episode 45.
He is one of the victims affected by George Kurai's actions from episode 46 to 47, but later in episode 48 along with the other affected people he is saved by the Cures and also becomes a Cure himself, much to his own surprise. With the other civilians, he lends his support to the Cures, helping them to finally purify George.
He is last seen watching Henri's performance with his parents and grandfather in the final episode.
On Sora's Team[]
Masato joins Sora's team with Emiru, Henry, and everyone in his world, especially Him, and other are surprised about Rokuro, and Yuto is a friend like Him, and Henry but Him, and others are surprised that Yuto is the cause his friend turned into a monster then Rokuro went crazy due to Yuto's actions which turned his friend into a friend. Rokuro became a monster, especially Yuto is traitor to Benio after Benio was betrayed then gave harsh words to Benio made Henry annoyed, including Masato, because his actions made Rokuro, especially when Yuto tried to compare with him, made him refuse because Masato still conscious, especially him, Henry, and others in his world, annoyed that Yuto's crime would exceed the Criasu corporation because it caused innocent people to die, making Charleet, Jinjin, Takumi, Ruru, Gelos, Papple, Biscine, Doctor Traum, and Daigan confirmed that especially Yuto was more terrible for making the innocent so that Criasu rejected Yuto because his actions would exceed Criasu even though Yuto managed to escape with the criminals but Benio apologized for Yuto's behavior but Henry, He, and others did not blame Benio, but hearing that Rokuro forgave Benio made Him, Henry, and others forgive her so that He, and others became friends with Benio, especially He, Henry, Hariham, and Emiru were Usagi Shinohara's main enemies because their actions surpassed Emiru, especially when they heard Usagi sent Michito to hell because Usagi was actually covered by evil, especially when he heard that Usagi had joined Xehanort's team, and 961 swore to stop Usagi, especially him, and others surprised that Keitaro Gentoga was like Masato but he had the aura of attracting demons by luring demons to make Henry, Emiru, and others surprised then laughed that Keitaro more like Masato unlucky to meet a devil, and a ghost made him annoyed with jokes of Henry, Emiru, and others even though he met a ghost but Keitaro wanted release curse made him, and his friend helped especially him, Henry, and others will help Kamiyo from Taisui Xingjun because Taisui is like Gelos more scary making Criasu understand including Gelos doesn't like him because Taisui is perverted especially He likes Isogai as his older brother but hearing that Isogai's father died makes Him, Henry, Emiru, and others see Isogai worse but thanks to Korosensei's teachings, Isogai is like his classmate even though He, and the others are surprised that Isogai, and Maehara are like Him, and Henry is different As friends, he and the others understand that Isogai and Maehara have different personality traits.
