Maebara Aiko (前原 藍子) is Maebara Keiichi's mother. She first appears in Onikakushi-hen along with her husband, Maebara Ichirō. She is rarely seen or fully depicted in the first two seasons of the anime, but she appears various times throughout the manga adaptations. In the the first two seasons, like her husband, her face is not fully shown; however, her hair is depicted as brown and shoulder length. In the new third season, she appears frequently.

Personality[]
Ichirou and Aiko are very supportive of Keiichi. Tsumihoroboshi shows that they felt guilty about partially contributing to Keiichi's shooting incident by not being aware of his struggles and tried hard to rectify this mistake.
Background[]
Keiichi's family used to live in Tokyo. Hoping to start a new life, they moved to Hinamizawa in 1983 after buying an empty lot and building a mansion there. Tsumihoroboshi reveals that they did it after an incident where Keiichi shot at kids with a BB gun.

Aiko was resurrected by Xehanort along with her husband, and the citizens of Himamizawa died as a result of attacks from Tsukuyami, King, Naraku, and other criminals on Xehanort's orders after Keiichi, Mamoru, Miyuki, Suguru, Rena, Chie, Kyousuke, Rika, Jiro, Satoshi, Kazuho, Chisame, Miyabi Saionji, Daiki, Kimiyoshi Natsumi, Kimiyoshi Kazuho, Satoko, Rena, Mion, and Shion as Survivor that managed to escape from Himamizawa incident by villains assault especially that Aiko, and Ichirou held back the citizens of Himamizawa who were under the control of the villains then the two of them told Keiichi to run away from Himamizawa to meet his friends that Keiichi deserved to live to continue his life before Aiko, and Ichirou sacrificed himself by being killed by criminals so that the Hero was surprised that the reason Keiichi was able to survive was because Aiko, and Ichirou want Keiichi could meet his friend, and the person closest to him, so Keiichi wanted to save his parents from villains even though Keiichi was separated from his friends before because Keiichi already meet with Satoshi, and Rika while Morishige, Ohkawa, and Inumaru as Keiichi's permanent guardians after Keiichi, Satoshi, and Rika saved by Ohkawa, Morishige, and Inumaru before meet all his friends especially Sora, and the other Heroes when met Aiko, Ichiro, and the citizens of Himamizawa but it was only an illusion after Aiko, and Ichiro tried to attack Keiichi but failed because Keiichi already know that felt that his parents never attacked him with weapon until Keiichi that can parried blocking his parents attack with his baseball bat make Fate, and The other heroes were surprised that Keiichi said that Aiko was his mother then Ichiro was his father, along with other Himamizawa residents who had been resurrected who were under the control of the King, Izanami, Naraku, and other villains, but why did Keiichi and his friends survive because Keiichi said that Keiichi, and his closest friends have already joined thrn Keiichi, and his closest already are under the protection as Sora's Team member but Aiko, and other Himamizawa residents are still under control because Naraku, and other criminals keep Aiko's soul, along with other Himamizawa residents soul as puppets of Naraku, King, Izanami, and most other villains so Keiichi vows to save his mother, father, and other Himamizawa residents especially Satoshi, Satoko, Mamoru, Tomita, and others. surviving the previous monster attack in Himamizawa will help Keiichi save Aiko, Ichiro, and the other Villains from the influence of the villain's control especially Aaron see that Keiichi just like him in Luke form make Luke, and Diana understand that Keiichi just like him.
